Steak, glad I missed them. Probably the usual suspects like DP and Dawoof spewing more fantasy deriding the "all-knowing" cabal. If only some of these "High Power Jews" who "control everything" would whisper in my ear what was going to happen in the last seconds of one of these crooked NFL games I would be so appreciative!
Barman your wife has me beat by 3 days. BTW it's "Shabbas Goy," and although your definition is technically correct, the term is more often used as a derogatory insult from one Jew to another. A great example of a Shabbas Goy would be a Jew who fasts on Yom Kippur and then breaks his fast with a pepperoni pizza [LMFAO]!!!
I still go to synagogue on the High Holidays only because I love and respect my Dad. He's 73 and [I can't believe I'm typing this after being raised by such a strong man] frail and who knows how many more years I'll be privileged to stand beside him.
For Conservative and Orthodox Jews the day Barney Frank was referring to is the second holiest day of the year. On that day G-D begins deciding if you'll be inscribed in the Book of Life for another year.
There is certainly nothing wrong with Frank deciding not to work during this time, observing his religion. Sandy Koufax did the same thing. What would Sage Rosenfels do? Who knows LOL!
