Let's cut to the chase.... I had a pretty decent season so far but made a few ill advised wagers over the last 5 weeks that stripped away all my winnings.... I chased.... I got beat by it too... Oh well. Now it's time to either cower away back to betting 50-100$ each time or take the bank roll I came into this season with that I could afford to lose and lay it all on the line.... Typically I spread my money all over the board as indicated by my amount of plays... Last two weeks tho have been let downs and I lost all my winnings of almost 2k and im back to my original starting point.... So let's have some fun, take chances, try a new strategy, invest some money or go down in flames for the entire forum to see lol. Here we go.
First play:
5* 500$
Baylor -1:
listen josh doctson is out, Boykin is hobbled and certainly won't be 100%, but who is this time of year... I had Boykin winning the heisman in my future bet but that's not going to happen now..tcu has lost the mojo and lost two of their last 3 games and narrowly escaped Kansas.... KANSAS! Something isn't right with this team and the offense is having major problems with doctson out... now their squaring up against a pissed off Baylor team.... Yeah art briles is pissed, it's pretty obvious. I know Baylor has some QB issues but honestly, it really doesn't matter in their system. It's a plug and play. The reads are simple and their WRs are just better than anything tcu has defensively... Don't even try to argue that.... Fact of the mater is that in order for tcu to win Boykin will have to have a mariota/Manziel/Vince young/ todd gurley all rolled into one performance. Will he shine, surely, because the dude is gifted, but he doesn't have his number one wideout and security blanket and that's a huge loss.... HUGE.... Baylor can run the ball better as well, plus they have the talent defensively to at least corral Boykin to some degree. Boykin will likely have a monster night but it just won't be enough, baylor has more CONFIDENCE and MOMENTUM, they win another ESPN Classic shootout between these two teams. 51- 45
second play:
5* 500$
Arizona state +3 @cal
arizona state just won their rivalry game and their offense has been flying high as of lately. Cal just lost their rivalry game and has lost 5 of their last 6, more importantly their offense is no where to be found. Goff hasn't necessarily regressed, but he's lost his luster and the whole team is struggling as a unit. Sunny dykes will be in for a blitz-a-thon against Todd graham and I'm not sure the golden Bears will have the ability to protect Goff all night... So much of cals offense revolves around long developing intermediate and deep routes, and that's a recipe for disaster against the sun devils who love to get pressure and force quick reads... It's just my feeling that Goff will throw a pick or two this game and it's going to cost them big time. Other than one game, cals rushing attack has been non existent, while Arizona state has a very good rushing attack and a very mobile QB with a big arm. Bercovici is a stud guys, he doesn't get any credit either, but I bet he and that offense tear cal a new asshole... Cal is trending down and this rivalry loss to Stanford has officially sunk the ship. Their dead mentally and emotionally will be a train wreck on senior night .... Giving ASU 3 points is a joke, you're basically telling me that it's just the home field advantage and you see these two teams as equals...? Come on man... I wouldn't be surprised to see cal get flogged here... The only win cal has had in its last 6 games was against Oregon state lol... Had they played an average team they would be 0-6 in that span, guaranteed..... ASU with the obvious momentum and confidence, cal with none
ASU wins outright 44-31
Third play:
5* 500$
uconn@temple under 43:
ill put it to you this way, if this game goes over then the world just isn't right and I'll crawl into a bottle of balvenie double wood scotch .... Both of these coaches are up and comers, hard nosed a sheet defensive minds which is refreshing to see I. Today's college football. Temple is one of the best defenses in the country, but surprisingly, UConn for the last few years has been a VERY good defense in their own respect. Considering they are more known for their womens sports and men's basketball they virtually get zero talent coming into that program, but they do a hell of a job playing defense. UConn is tough, smart, and disciplined, in fact, they are basically a spitting image of temple minus the few athletes temple possesses in the backfield.... However temple can't run away from anyone, so don't expect them to score a whole hell of a lot in this one... I'm being dead serious when I say that I would be surprised if more than one TD was scored by both teams the whole game.... This has all the trappings of a 16-9 ball game... There will be a ton of punts and the game will be decided by a turnover or two but mainly and predominantly by field position.
Uconn has has only given up 37 points their last three games and while temple gave up quite a few in a two game stretch after playing notre dame they rebounded very well by not allowing Memphis to get in the endzone..... That's impressive! Senior night in philly for the temple owls, expect a mighty defensive effort from both teams. This will be one of the most physical games of the entire season across all levels and conferences of college football. Of course as I place this bet temple will win in triple OT 24-21 lol or it will just be a shootout....
nah take the under!
Fourth play:
4* 100$
marshall@WKU over 62.5
last year these two teams played a basketball game on the football field... It was basically a 7 on 7 manning passing academy featuring Eli and Peyton quarterbacking for the respective teams with apparently Odell beckam and Julio jones going against local Jv defensive backs... Even tho rakeem Cato is gone, Marshall is still a quality team.... The better team is WKU with doughty spinning the bean all over the flipping field... He and Matt Johnson from bowling green are having Better years than I ever had on the ncaa football games, and I had some stellar seasons if I do say so myself....
Seriously tho, Marshall has had a week off to prepare after beating fiu 52-0, but doughty and company are fresh off hanging 63 on fiu as well in a shortened game.... Yikes.... Offense will be the story here.... Hard to imagine either team stopping one another enough to keep the total under 60...... Take the over as this should be a good game...
Final play:
4*100$
texas tech@ Texas over 72
I deposited an extra 100$ into my account just for this bet... I'm officially letting it all hang out.... Letting it ride.... Emptying the bank account... Bla bla bla.... Texas tech is liable to score 50 themselves on just about anyone, let alone a floundering Texas team, but they are just as liable to give up 60 at the same time.... It's almost as if they just don't care about defense... It makes me wonder if the practices only focus on kingsbury and the offense and the defense just chugs natty ice out of warm cans on the sideline in cowboy boots. For the last two seasons their defense has been so abysmal its actually a disgrace to college football.... However, Both teams are coming off 12 days and the Longhorns need two wins for bowl eligibility...... Will they make it.... Not a snowflakes chance in hell because they play Baylor at the end of the year which will literally be like watching an Eskimo club a baby seal.... Gives me shudders just thinking about that massacre next week.... However this week Texas will score.... A lot.... Texas tech is a lost cause defensively and the whole team knows it, at this point their mantra is just try to give their offense as many bullets (possessions) as possible in each shootout... I bet Texas scores at least 30 and probably more like 38-44 points themselves. The Red raiders don't kick Fgs and the clock won't stop a whole lot here... Neither team stands a chance of stopping one another much at all, if ever.... Seriously ... I could see either team winning so if you've got enough hair on your taint to play a side, by all means, be my guest, but the obvious play here is the over with it Hits or not.
BOL guys.... Go ducks and may God have mercy on my bankroll
