Wait....Im going to defend my guy here. Are you comparing stealing and possibly rape to a player smoking weed in the summer? If you suspended every college football player that smoked weed, especially in the offseason, there wouldn't be many teams left.
I had someone associated with Ole Miss football tell me two years ago that on average, the pot usage on an FBS team is around 62% nationwide, based on a poll of Head Trainers of FBS schools.
Big difference between smoking weed & raping a girl..........smoking weed is legal in some states.
As for ESPN, I do believe they throw black players under the bus more than a white player being charged with the same crime.
I also don't believe that it should be a crime for college players to make money off their talents while the universities are making hundreds of millions each year off these players.......the hypocrisy........

How do you compare a tight end that has not been listed on ANY depth chart for Bama all year to a Heisman winning QB for the National Champions??? Not even close. He is insignificant and ESPN or anyone else won't waste headlines on that. If it was Amari Cooper, it'd be all over the news. Not remotely a fair comparison. Nole fans are just pissed their QB keeps doing dumb stuff that keep him in the headlines...over and over and over again. Blame him, not ESPN or the SEC. It is not a conspiracy. If it was, Gurley would not have missed a snap and Georgia would likely have 4-5 more players on their team.
