Should've been a penalty against Seattle and Lions ball at 1/2 yard line ... Officials clearly missed it. Wow!

Ya just watching Dean Blandino on NFL network and he's saying the refs blew the call just like you guys are saying. Wow poor Detroit, they can't catch a break. Subject rule so it can't even be reviewed. So dumb, just review everything!

Also does not shock me that Young, Lewis and Dilfer do not know the rules. Most players do not.

Remember Domovan Mcnabb "I did not know the game would end in s tie."

So any horror stories from Lions 2h Team Total betters or moneyline players etc.... I know the Computer Group won a teaser largely because of that call. I only had first half action, but if I lost money on that blown call I would've been pissed beyond belief.

Now the back judge is saying "The Seattle defender did not intentionally bat the ball out of the end zone."

What game was he watching? He thought the defender did not mean to touch the ball?

Sometimes I am convinced the NFL does this shit on purpose to keep people talking about the NFL like deflate gate.

This one play basically took over Sportscenter and after 45 minutes they finally get to the preview of the MLB playoffs tomorrow.

I have to put this on Caldwell and the Lion's coaches also.

Caldwell has no business as a NFL coach and looked clueless in the presser. He said " What are you going to do?" Really?

How about go out and argue with the refs while the play is happening. Does anyone here think that Harbaugh would have just sat there and did nothing? Jim Caldwell please watch coaching tape of Jim Harbaugh, a real football coach, and learn the rules!

I get that it's a rule, and in the NFL all rules should bring an accompanying flag if broken. However, this rule, is stupid, and should be changed. Cam Chancellor made a play, and the damn ball was going out of bounds anyway. A dumb rule like that should never decide a game, soimglad the refs didn't throw the flag. Hopefully the NFL revisit this rule in the off season, and eliminate it.

Agree completely. His action didn't prevent Detroit from recovering it, it was going out of bounds anyway. Did his hand assist the process of the ball going out, yes. Did he "bat" the ball, 50/50.

If the flag WAS thrown, then it would have been just as controversial, but just a different group complaining about it. Could have gone either way. Personally, I don't think that play warranted a flag. Sorry if it cost you.
