still looking to grind out a winning day if the PISTONS can cover,

HOWEVER,

this sucks....

first, CLEVLAND loses 3-2 after dominating & outhitting their oponent 9-3.

then, Oakland scores 3 fucking runs to cover the run line in the top of eighth & ninth. (bucs play)

& finaly, a 'SURE' under posted by Winning Systems, goes over in EXTRA FUCKING INNINGS.

sheesh....

just goes to show how you can be on the RIGHT side of a game & still lose money.

I've never done well on Thursdays. Today will be a + day though, even though I caught 2 of those bad beats (Clev & Hou Under) Phils pullin through helped, and I had Houston.

Can't believe the Mets

Cameron gets a single on a ground ball to shortstop with 2 outs in the 8th to tie it at 3-3

Then of course the Mets can't score to save their lives to win it before Houston scores 3 in the top of the 11th

The Astros got a lucky bounce and a hit from an unlikely source in the seventh to take the lead. But the Mets benefited from a mark on the ball -- perhaps shoe polish, just like the 1969 World Series -- to tie it at 3 in the eighth.

Leading off the inning, Kaz Matsui appeared to be hit on the foot by a pitch from reliever Dan Wheeler, but plate umpire Gerry Davis looked unsure of the call until he inspected the ball and awarded Matsui first base. Astros manager Phil Garner came out to argue and was shown the ball.

Mets AND Total

Well, I had the Mets and the UNDER 7.5. The Astros scored some DFL runs (Dumb Fxxxxxx Luck) and the Mets couldn't beat a dreadful road team with a solid performance from Glavine. Found myself hoping for a miracle 4-3 Met win in extras. Bad beat for sure.
