Astros
He just dominated them in his last start and he will dominate them again. Oswalt went 8 innings allowing 1 earned in getting the win. That is impressive but what is even more impressive is this. Over his last 4 starts versus the D'backs, he is 4-0 going 7 innings twice and 8 innings the other two. How about two shutouts, a 1 run effort and a 2 run job. I am talking about 3 earned in 30 innings. On fire is how I would describe him now. His ERA for the year is 2.91 at home, 3.49 on the road and 3.19 overall. Solid numbers from a guy who I feel undervalued in this game here. When healthy, as he is now, he is as good as anyone in the world. Batista comes off back to back no decisions, allowing 4 runs over 6 innings to the Phillies and these same Astros. Well, 8 runs your last 12 innings isn't exactly lighting up the world. Oswalt owns this team and he will own them tonight and as this kind of price, the price is right for me and 40 Dime winner #9 in a row. Astros roll on behind Oswalt.
A's
They have beaten the Mariners 9 in a row. Zito has beaten the M's 4 in a row. IN his last 2 starts versus the A's, Washburn has been hit for 9 runs over 12 innings. I don't know about you, but I feel pretty good about a guy who in his last 34 innings versus the M's, Zito has allowed 4 runs, including 13 shutout innings. Good enough for me. Grab the A's, get yourselves my 10 dime winner #4 in a row. Love the A's tonight.<!-- / message -->
