In Hawaii, there is some stupid rule that says to register your car you need something called a "safety check". Anyways, they check blinkers, lights, windows, tires, height, etc. My car has had tint too dark and I've had "friends" that would give me the annual safety check without verifying the tint. He isn't in the business anymore so I had to get my tint fixed.

Anyways, I had my driver and passenger window tint removed and new tint replacing those 2 windows. I paid $90 which is fine since my registration expires in July and I'm running out of time.

But everyone says at my office I paid too much for 2 windows.....thoughts?

Cliffnotes: Tinting for 2 windows (driver/passenger) = $90. Expensive? Cheap?

several years ago I paid 65 for driver/pass truck windows...2 windows 65 bucks and they were tinted more than the legal limit could be a sign of the weakening dollar..haha but i think 90 is kinda steep for only two regular windows.

you got ripped off man. I have a tahoe and payed 50 for my front two windows. Its usually 50 for front windows, 100 for all four. 150 for all four and the back window. You can also find a deal for like 125.
