My preseason favorite to make it to the NCAAB Championship is at home facing a very respectable opponent in Kentucky.
Kentucky has a good overall team but Auburn arguably has the best defensive squad I’ve seen in a long time. With the duo of Kessler & Smith in the paint they make it hard for teams to score any easy points. Auburn has wins over some tough competition coming into this one and should look to show that they are deserving of their now #2 ranking.
Wendell Green #1 will serve as the X factor, producing buckets while Johnson & Jasper rest so there’s no drop off in guard play.
This should be a good one but with the home crowd and 2 of the best big men in the country I’ll eat the -3.5.
