I see you lurking around here so I decided to ask you a question. I know that we both have Dallas to win the series at even money or -110. How are you playing tonight's game? Are you simply playing the Rockets on the moneyline? If so, for how much? Also, are you playing Houston plus the points and hoping for a Dallas win, but non cover. Clock is ticking. One hour and change until gametime.

I am sitting on small risk Dal to win series 7.5-1. I must admit, taking the +4 1/2 is tempting. I will probably let it ride. That was my intent when I bought out. Mavs seem good enough to bounce and win game #7 at home. But it could be another nailbiter. I am beginning to go back to my under roots. Spurs/Sea, under. Too bad this Indy series has to end. Games go OT and still stay under.

OF,

I played Houston at +342 to win the series at Pinnacle before game 6, but for very small. I felt I had too much riding on Houston that game, as it was my strongest play of the postseason thus far. I think that I am going to play Houston +4.5 and hope for a Dallas win and Houston cover. However, if Houston wins the series, which I think they have a great shot to do, there will be plenty of money to be made in the next series against the Suns.

Yup, either squad should present some value against the Suns. I am supposed to take a small % and takeback + points for the win both. Would be the smart play. To tell you the truth, I think this entire JVG fiasco is going to have King David banish the violater from the playoffs. At least it will move on to next phase, choking JVG. What a gross miscalculation. How can a coach be a close confidant to an official? This is a direct attack against the integrity of the officiating. A gigantic 5 gal can of worms. King David is screwed, JVG is also double screwed, and may have lost a career. That is the main reason why I am just leaning on the Mavs to win, and exit this self destructive coach. Like the King says, he can set himself on fire, but he will not burn my kingdom down.

Take along look at my home boy Diego tonight. Has an opponent tailor made for his style. Could be a short one also. :103631605

OF,

I sit right behind Bill Van Gundy, Jeff and Stan's father, at the Heat games and talk to him a bunch. He thinks that Jeff's punishment was very excessive and feels that David Stern's threat to his son's career is ludicrous. Just wanted to share. Good luck tonight OF. Wish you would start posting again:103631605

Just made a bundle on that Chico fight. One of the best comebacks, and fights I have ever seen. Close to shoe in Fight of the Year.

I'll say one thing: Omni Frog mentioned he is not second-guessing or changing. Sounds like he stuck to his original plan! Funnily, I was in the same boat but got very cold feet before this game. Now, I will lose money! LOL! That's ok...lesson learned, I think. I am heavy on Houston tonight and was on Dallas to win series. My cold feet got started with the first two losses. tulsa

My intent was to stick it out, let it ride. Was probably not the best move, but hate pissing away already established value on a home team in game #7. I take the 7.5-1 to win the series.

SB, JVG was as out of line as you can get. He attacked the credibility of the hand that feeds him, the NBA. Obviously he is not much of a chess player, or he would have thought a few moves ahead. Now King David is screwed. NBA peaking, all time high popularity in many ways, going global. So one of his coaches says he has an inside source, another supposedly unbiased official, tipping him off on the way the league works. If he does indeed have an official friend, keep your mouth shut about it. Even worse, the league hates Cuban, and the Mavs pay for it time after time. This crap happens all the time, teams send in tapes, Adelhead did it with Seattle. And Yao was setting moving screens. So it actually was a legit beef. If I am King David, I have a real pickle here. His hand is almost forced by JVG's indescretion. Who is deep throat ref? Obviously he is biased if he is tipping off a coach. Chinese fans are outraged, their guy is getting screwed. But in reality, he is not. Plus King David has to now make an example of JVG. You can choke a coach, you can call the refs any foul name you want, you can be abusive, alcoholic, whatever. But do not spew out venom that attack the core prinicples of your business. I hate to say this but I am with the King here.

Lab,
You are right, I should not have hedged. I just fell in love with the way Houston played in game 6 and thought that it would cary over to this game. I originally played Dallas after game 1 because of the value that was in that bet. I made a mistake getting off of the original play. No doubt about it.

No biggie, SB, slight error, or it resulted that way. Got some very good earn opportunities approaching. I will try to help you out here and there. Tell you one thing, Dallas is not Memphis. Plenty of games left to earn. Cigar time.

You are right about Dallas not being Memphis. I see Dallas winning their share of games in this series and maybe, just maybe, advancing to the next round against the Spurs. Look forward to hearing from you soon.
