Andy, sorry so late, i just got home from work.....Michael at Heritage had emailed me back just as he said he would...I simply wasnt here to get it...

Michael seems like a very straight-forward business man, and from the sound of his email, and his info, this might be a book i would like to take a look at.......He was very honest about what was going on, and very succinct in the explanation of your options....

The problem here is not one of scamming, or bonus whoring, simply of not abiding by there withdrawal rules....

here are you options....

You can leave your money there for 14 days from deposit, as they state in their rules, and then withdrawal all the money, with Heritage paying the fees....

If you wish to forego their offer, and withdraw your money prior to the required time, they will send you the money tomorrow...However, you will then be responsible for the cost of the money coming in 3.8 % (on the 820.00) and 5% going out (on the 820.00).....the winnings can then be withdrawn however you wish, if by western union, then u pick up the fees....seeing as the rules were stated clearly on their site, I dont see where Heritage was at fault here, and think they have given you 2 very fair options.....

This was my first player/book dispute, and hopefully you are satisfied with the results, i think Mike did what he could.....He was quite honest about books not wanting hit and run customers due to the high cost of transferring money, and i can understand that....

below i will copy the exact excerpt from his email, in case i did not describe this clear enough....

And as a bonus, Michael said they dont check out the forums too much, but i had sent him a link to the thread, so he checked it out, and was impressed by many of the posters coming to Heritage's defense, and questioning why someone was cashing out so fast, etc.....He appreciated the support, and therefore has informed me that any poster that had posted in that thread before 4:30 pm est, will be given a free entry into their NCAA BRACKET CONTEST.......lots of prizes to be won....It is reserved for active clients, but he wanted to thank the posters who supported Heritage, and spoke their peace.....A very cool offer to say the least.......Just contact Mike at Heritage to enter the contest, if you posted in the thread before 4:30 est (the time they checked the thread)...

Once again, i am glad this is resolved, and hope u get your money however u want it Andy....

below is the excerpt from the email...

Back to the problem at hand. We will send this client all his money immediately but we will charge him a 3.8 % Neteller fee going in and a 5% Neteller fee going out on the 820 he wants via Neteller. We will then send him a check or wire transfer for the balance for a $45 fee or send it to him W/U with him paying the Western Union fee. Basically what we are saying is we will waive the 14 day rule but he has to pay all related fees to get the money. This is consistant with the rules posted on our site. We aren't charging him on what he won with "fee" money.

If he will wait the 14 days he will be eligible to get all his money and we will pay all the fees.

Isnt 5% or even 3.8% too high?

They havent mentioned anything regarding these high fees in their bonus rules section. Why?
http://www.heritagesports.com/general_house_rules.htm#bonus
It just says:
"Players may be charged for their Neteller fees incurred by Heritage Sports."

I think they should be clear about it and indicate exactly what the fee is.

Bonus Rules

All bonuses are applicable to the sportsbook only. Casino volume does not count towards any rollover requirements.

Bonuses will only be awarded to account holders who provide a verified name, street address, phone number, and e-mail.

The maximum bonus awarded to any new account is $500.00.

All Heritage Sports promotions can be used only one time per household.

In order to qualify for any bonuses, the minimum deposit must be $500.00. (Initial deposits $500 and reloads $300)

Heritage Sports promotions can not be used in conjunction with any other promotions currently offered.

In order to make any withdrawals, the client who receives a bonus must play the initial deposit, fees, and bonus a specified number of times in sports book volume (roll over) and/or a specified length of time. These requirements are acertained at the time of the clients initial signup. Again, casino volume does not count towards this rollover. If the client chooses to withdraw funds from the account before these requirements are fulfilled, all bonuses, fees, and residual monies will be forfeited from the accounts balance.

For example, if you have a five (5) time rollover and you had sent us $1000.00 with a reimbursed fee of $68.00 and a cash bonus of $100.00, you must wager $5840.00 ($1000 + $68 + $100 X 5 = $5840) in total sportsbook action before you can request a withdrawal of your funds.

Once all rollover requirements have been met, payouts can be arranged through a number of different methods. All withdrawals must be sent to the account holders name. If the payout is requested via a cashier's check, the check must be sent to the account holder's name and address. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.

Residuals are determined by the first play(s) risk amount equal to the equivalent of the cash bonus or Bonus Play.

Deposit, bonus and fees must be left in the account for 14 days with enough funds to complete the required rollover, usually 3 times. Winnings over that amount can be withdrawn.

Anybody who signs up as a new account, and we discover that said person already has an account faces the risk of forfeiture of the TOTAL balance of the account.

Heritage Sports reserves the right to terminate or modify any bonus program at any time prior to written or verbal notice, and participants agree that if the program is terminated or modified, there will be no compensation past the termination or modification date, other than as applicable at that time.

Any violations of the rules of any offer(s) of Heritage Sports will result in immediate forfeit of all bonus funds, and residuals from the use of these funds and in the loss of account holder privileges.

*Bonuses are intended for recreational bettors only. Professional players, syndicate players, or players considered by Heritage Sports to be abusing the bonus system by any means may have their bonuses revoked and be subject to further sanctions at the discretion of Heritage Sports management.

Heritage Sports reserves the right to charge an Account Closure Fee to any account deemed by Heritage Sports to be a professional, syndicate, non-recreational, or bonus abuser. The Account Closure Fee may vary depending on the case.

Heritage Sports awards CASH BONUSES to NEW ACCOUNTS only! New accounts opened through selected methods with a minimum deposit of $500.00 will receive CASH BONUSES. Bonuses are not awarded to new accounts funded through NETeller. Please call 1-800-800-7777 for details.

All Bonus Plays must be made over the phone. Bonus Play bonuses may be used as straight plays, teasers, or parlays. All straight wagers where the money line is no larger than -110 are all $0.00 to win the Bonus Play amount. If the line is -111 or higher you risk the Bonus Play amount to win the lesser amount. If the play wins, then only the winings go into the players account as CASH. If the Bonus Play loses there is no physical adjustment to the account. If the play ends in a push then the player gets to play the Bonus Play again.

Example 1: A client has a $100.00 Bonus Play and wishes to use it on the Dallas Cowboys -3 (-110). The wager will be $0.00 to win $100.00.

Example 2: A client has a $100.00 Bonus Play and wishes to use it on the Atlanta Braves -140. The wager will be $0.00 to win $71.00. The client lays the virtual $100.00 to win $71.00.

Bonus Plays can also be used for parlays and teasers. If you play either of these methods the wager is $0.00 to win the amount of the parlay or teaser. Unless the wager has more than -110 juice.

Example 1: A client has a $100.00 Bonus Play and wishes to make a 3 team football parlay. Our 3 team football parlay odds are 6 to 1. Therefore, the wager would be $0.00 to win $600.00

Example 2: A client has a $100.00 freeplay and wishes to make a 3 team 6 point teaser. The wager would be $0.00 to win $180.00.

All active customers of Heritage Sports are eligible to receive referral bonuses. Active customers are customers who have made any plays in the last 14 days with money in their account.

All referral bonuses are Bonus Play bonuses. A client is eligible to receive a 10% Bonus Play (up to $100.00 based on a $1000.00 initial deposit).

The client referred has to meet the rollover requirements before the referral bonus is awarded to the active customer. Referral bonuses will only be awarded on initial deposits of $500.00 or more. Referral bonuses will not be awarded to customers who sign up through Neteller.

Neteller Note: Players may be charged for their Neteller fees incurred by Heritage Sports.

not sure about that scorpion, i dont use neteller, so not sure what regular fees are.....

I agree though, it would probably be a good idea to post the fees somewhere, then again, it would be a better idea to just adhere to the rules, and cashout in 14 days for free...

i personally do not have a problem with heritage (or any book for that matter) setting up rules to protect themselves from bonus whores and other people trying to take advantage of the system.

i have played there since 1998. they give me a Bonus Play bonus every time i send money there and i don't even ask for it. yes, i lost some money there when i first started but, the last two years i have won it all back and then some (thanks largely to the info on this site).

there have been a few times that i have won big there and requested a withdrawl via neteller when i know i did not roll the balance 4x or 5x or whatever...and i was charged nothing. why? because i am a loyal customer. i did not send money there, have them cover my fees, win a few games in a row over a one or two day period, then request all my money.

why shouldn't they (or anybody) treat loyal account holders differently than people coming in to try to get a quick bang and then leave? i am in the business world and i do this sort of thing everyday. i bend over backwards for a client that i know is loyal to me and will continue to give me business and i am a lot tougher with people who i suspect are not loyal to me but rather "shopping around" looking for the best deal at the time.

I understand where the 3.8% comes in. But why does Heritage charge 5% for netller withdrawals. No way does neteller charge them that amount. That 5% fee must be a way for heritage to screw thier winners out of the money they won.

Bucsfan,

Next time you speak to Heritage, can you please ask them where this 5% fee comes from
