ATLSLIM'S SEC Saturday

Good day fellow gamblers!! Excellent day for a wager, or two, or more!! I got these three lines last night from a local, didn't have to buy the hook on any of them, although one(LSU) is going in the other direction. My plays for Saturday:

Vanderbilt +15 (2*)
Mississippi +13 (2*)
LSU -2.5 (2*)

I deal with 2 local books and when you do, you get regional influences. People here, as myself, love Bama and Georgia, so you have to give up an extra 1/2 or point to get them. I think the value here is apparent, the top two games should be 7-10 points. But that, is my read on the situation. No Best Bet, yet! More to come, Crush the books!!! GLTA ATLSLIM

Really dont like the Vandy pick, I think it may be a suckers bet and the fact they are top25 is ridiculous.

This is a really bad match up for Vanderbilt. They have zero passing game (116th in the nation, one of only five teams to throw for under 100 ypg) and rely almost exclusively on running it. Georgia is only giving up 52 ypg on the ground, and last week only gave ONE yard rushing to Tennessee (who has a better OL then Vandy).

I know yards gained is not the best statistic but Vanderbilt is dead last in the SEC and 117th in the nation in offense with 250 yards per game. Georgia on the other hand is leading the SEC with 430 ypg. Vandy hasn't seen a team remotely on the talent level of Georgia so far this year.With Georgia having such a solid D and Vandy an inept offense at best, I can't see a reason why this game will ever be in question.

UGA is the best bet on the board, and Vandy is the #1 sucker bet, as evidenced by it being a rare, publicly favored road dog. Vandy has no passing game whatsoever, faces a UGA team that is giving up 52 YPG against the run, and is coming off of a 107 yard offensive performance against State....Ole Miss makes more sense.

I have followed these Bulldogs for a few years, and when Vandy had less of a team than they have this year, they gave Georgia all that they(Ga) could handle. Especially when they were well below Georgia's talent level. Georgia has always played down to Vandy or Vandy up to Georgia. I am a bulldog fan of sorts, so this is not from my heart. Yeah alot of people here on Clemson, I just don't see it. Talent yes, underachievers, definitely. However, Ga Tech has been playing some good ball this year.

I have to pat myself on the back right now. I hate betting against Georgia and Alabama, but you got to have heart and good sense. To the posters who told me Georgia would beat up Vandy and cover, keep your eyes open, you will learn.

Atlslim is 3-1 on the day. 2-0 in the SEC. Both dogs, both good value!

On to LSU and South Carolina, alot of touts and posters on S.C. Another thing about losing your last game, if you are a quality team, you will play better. I have watched both of these teams and S.C. is too , I don't know,hot and cold. Maybe it's my dislike of The Ole Ball Coach! Go LSU!!!

I thought Georgia would put up more points hno: I should of seen that the most points any one has scored on Vandy before the Georgia game is 21.
