Did you hear the crowd boo after the performance? That's the first time I recall that happening. The funny thing is, think about who really loves college football and who is watching the game.....mostly men. So who do they get to perform the halftime show? Wussy Kelly Clarkson, about whom most guys don't give a rat's arse, Trace Adkins singing so low and soft he's barely audible....and if you don't like Country music you're s.o.l. And the Ashley Simpson debacle....it was a stupid song and she is not a good performer at all.

Obviously, the game was more important to us than any silly halftime show, but I can see why the fans who shelled out major $$ were booing the show. I kept hearing about Lenny Kravitz and U2 performing but never saw them, they just used a U2 song/video for some highlights. I wouldn't be surprised if U2 & Lenny went through rehearsal and said "we're not participating in a lame-ass show with these wannabees."

At least I had $$ on USC.
