So total closes at 27.5. Army takes a safety to make it 28. Does Army realize that you can also throw the ball away and still win? I didn’t play the total but I just thought it weird considering how the safety affected a lot of tickets.

Interesting. Why not just throw ball out of bounds. I never understood the safety.

I did not follow line movement on this game but usually landing on the total like that is bad for the BOOK.Which is ok with me. 28' go under 27' go over, You like the under and did not get it at 28' or 28 just pass if you miss the move. I do understand what your saying on just throwing the ball though.

Had a small Under play and thought safety was the way to go. Even under shotgun. In shotgun a dropped snap is easier to recover with two RB's by the QB. After snap walk back and step out when pressure reaches you. Safe play.
Besides earlier the ball did hit the punt returners foot. Destined to go Over.

What they should do is have an untimed down requiring the team who ran clock out with safety to kick the ball. That would likely prevent most intentional game ending safeties.

That was pretty obvious and a blown call.
Is it true the refs do not see and have access to the same replays and slo mo that we see on tv?
