a bit surprised at this..... army is a team i am interested in tailing this year. new run-oriented coach. no problems with personnel fit, like with so many new coaches.......

can't remember army-stanford score last year.......

think stanford is generally good fade these days.....

anyway, one of the few games that really jumped out at me.... maybe also cmichigan getting more than TD at home vs. syracuse.

if there's a team that can stop the run, it's Stanford.

Army defense is a not that terrific either and Stanford may have some frustrations to get out after the U$C game.

but 30 does seem like a lot......who does Stanford have on deck?

How does Shaw handle the cupcakes? I remember Harbaugh gave no quarter, but Shaw seems a bit different. Didn't they kind of back off from Army year, although I think it was one of those dreaded 9am PST games.

last year at army stanford won by 14.... total yards 410ish to 320ish. army ran the ball well.

army looks to be alot better this year, stanford perhaps worse. didn't really establish their ground game against USC (i realize it's USC)

against cal-davis, stanford didn't run the ball particularly well although they passed well. don't think they'll pass well against too many FBS teams.

anyway, i really like this pick. might even sprinkle some on the moneyline ...... time will tell :)

You've just lost a close game at home to USC on national television. A game you could have won. Your still very much alive in your division despite that loss. You want to show the playoff committee that your not going to walk quietly into the sunset with your tail between your legs. So how do you remain a playa in college football? Well, I can tell you it's not by playing a closer than expected game with Army....Just sayin'
