Agree with this one. The Vols and especially Jones and staff are catching hell at every turn around Knoxville. They will be out to prove a point Saturday. Best of luck to you but I don't think you will need it in this one.

Any comments on the line movement. Opened at Tennessee -7.5 which at first glance seems about right.

Too many points.

Arkansas can run the ball, and their rush defense is very good. They struggled against Texas Tech stopping the run, but Tennessee doesn't have the passing attack TT does to keep them off balance. Their other 3 games they did a very good job stopping it. The pass defense has struggled, but Tennessee doesn't have the passing game to exploit it.

Arkansas averages 5 yards a pop running it, Tennessee gives up 145 a game on 4.1 a carry. Arkansas should have beaten A&M last week and was a dog in this same price range.

Arkansas keeps this close, and may very well win outright.

Could not agree more. Jones not the only coach taking heat right now. I simply do not trust Tennessee in a close game. Worth mentioning off last weeks heart breaker, the vols face georgia after this game.

Loser buys the beer to cry in....who cares?

Vols should win in my opinion but who the crap knows with these two teams.

I wouldn't bet the price of a can of coors lite on this game.

Anyone within the area knows that the weather for Saturday will probably have an influence on the game. :103631605 alwatts

I think Arkansas covers. Both coaches taking heat. Arkansas coming off 3 straight losses, Tennessee coming off another loss where they were up double digits in second half. Weather not supposed to be great which imo favors the downhill power game of ark.

Good insight guys. Best of luck!!

Arkansas with the outright 24-20 win. Game went as planned. Arkansas punished them with the run and wore them down after falling behind early. That is what happens when you commit to the running game, its fundamental football and applies to all levels.

People love offense, and love high flying aerial circuses. If you can run the football, stop the run, and are getting points.....it is a solid wager. We went through this in the Mississippi/Florida thread.
