ARIZONA STATE +9 !!!! MIDDLE??

This line is way off!! Will probably go down to at least -7

Iowa lost their top (and practically only) receiver in Maurice Brown to probable surgery today. Even with Brown, this line should be no more than -6 and probably -4. One of the most absurd lines I have ever seen. Getting the +9 or more now is tremendous value and may afford you the oppurtunity for a nice middle by Saturday night. I personally got +9 and +9.5 myself. Called no less than 5 of my friends in Iowa and NONE of them made the game higher than -3.5! I made the game -4 BEFORE I even knew Brown was 100% out. Iowa is a only a slightly above average team....very good, but certainly not the 14th ranked team in the nation. They lost 7 players to the NFL off of last years team and they have played a cream puff schedule thus far.....MiamiOHIO, Buffalo, Iowa State. They do have probably the best special teams in the nation and that is their strength. Great FG kicker and they block alot of kicks. Just cannot see how they can possibly be this much over ASU. Heck, they were only -4 against what is going to be the worst team in the Big 12, Iowa State. Good luck batmiddlers.

I couldn't believe my eyes when Olympic opened it at -10. I seriously thought AZ State would be favored. However, I have'nt seen them play this year.

If you plan on betting on Iowa you should first take a look at Iowa's box score from last week against a sorry Iowa State team.

Their only playmaker had surgery today.

As most of you are aware i know ASU and the pac ten more than more on this board, especially the school I went to Arizona State! I will have my take on this game very soon.Was at their game on Saturday against Utah State and learned a lot from watching them.

It also appears that the Hawkeyes best defensive player, 1st team All-American SS Bob Sanders will likely not play vs. ASU either.

IOWA---- From a -4 point favorite at IOWA STATE(worst team in Big 12) to a -9 point favorite vs ASU (conference contener)???? I absolutely love KINNICK STADIUM, but is it worth this much???? Heck no!!! Iowa should be no more than -7! Who makes these lines?

I couldn't believe my eyes either. With Brown and Sanders out (two of the three best players on the team), emotional letdown after finally beating state (the players have been partying all week), a slow weak armed QB in Chandler, and joe public thinking the Hawks can't lose ATS, the linesmakers have given all of us a gift. Personally I had this game at Iowa -2', getting this much value I will make my biggest bet of the year on ASU.
