ASU has knocked Arizona out of a bowl game the last two years. This year Arizona has a chance to turn the tables on ASU and knock them out of a bowl game!. I have been rock solid in this rivalry over the years only losing once in the past 5 matchups ATS. Opening line is 10.5. I thought it would be closer to 7 or 8. ASU has beaten Wash, Wash State, and UCLA the last 3 games. Against UCLA the offense scored 3 of the 31 points as Craft was just horrible for UCLA. AZ has lost two in a row to Oregon and Oregon State. If they win they are most likely going to th Vegas bowl. I am still looking this game over. My initial lean is laying the points but I need some more time with this one.. I hope I can cash another Zona/ASU game! :103631605

ASU has taken advantage of the bottom of the pac in their wins. All against wash, wazzu, stan and ucla. Their only road win was Wash. I personally don't think they stand a chance in this one. Cats have been waiting for a pay back the last couple years. Always tough to lay this kind of wood in a rivalry game but I don't think it's gonna be close.

Don't hold me to it because I haven't looked at all ofr the numbers, but Arizona could be my biggest play of the week. ASU sucks. There is no two ways about it. And if you think their win over UCLA was impressive, just remember that UCLA had a QB that had only 6 TD's and 17 picks coming into that game. And despite that score Arizona had only 122 total yards in that game! What won it was 4 defensive touchdowns against a horrible UCLA QB. They won't have that kind of luck when they go to Arizona facing a much better QB and a Arizona team who has been money at home this year. Plus they haven't won this game for awhile. I can't think of a better time to do it than this year..

I think Arizona wins and covers. ASU offense is completely inept.
Best of luck!

how you feel about that total?...opened 55 bet down to 52...any more of a drop i lean heavy toward the over....wildcats are gonna put up points in this one, no doubt in my mind..now does rudy give the devils any backbone this week...cuz i swear to you watching last weeks game...he looked like he was on the take..and being at zona st. would that suprise me?..wide open guys were being thrown balls at their feet or missing them by 10 yds. downfield...with the exeption of the hurries and being forced out of the pocket naturally resulting in sacks,,,which has been all year with that line...he is still a decent qb in my eyes...who can put up points when needed... i mean is a 45-34final out of the question?

I will most likely be laying th points as mentioned above but how large I will go has yet to be determined. ASU had no business covering let alone winning this past Saturday and they have been a big disapointment to the fans and alumn like myself. They have beaten some bad teams the past 3 weeks and they dont even have ONE win over a team with a winning record this season!.

For whatever reason, ASU running game is awful. Thought Erickson would make improving the offensive line play a priority after wretched offensive line play down the stretch of last year. Guess Not.

You are right that was a big emphasis in the off season and coming into this season they were expecting big things from the running game but as we know it has not happened. Erickson coached teams are usually very explosive on offense as was last years team. Scoring only 3 points against UCLA on Saturday at home was a disgrace.... just horrible!

I saw that game. Put a little on the over for some action. Hands down the stupidest bet of my season. Funny things was that it almost hit due to UCLA offense being so bad they generated points the other way. :ohno:

AZ ST offense may have trouble breaking 14 points. AZ rolls it up. 42-10 final!!

Rivalry games are generally close. U of A laying DD? Tough to pull the trigger on ASU, but if I had to take a side, it would be ASU plus the points.

They lost a lot of seniors including 5 major producers as NFL draft picks which are not easy to replace, especially with only 1 year on the job for Erickson. I should have seen that from the beginning of the year when I thought that they would compete among the top teams in the conference behind USC.

I'm afraid 10-11 points is too many here even though asu has been a huge disappointment. except for oregon, sc, and uga, games this year have been close (at least according to scoreboard)

add in a rivalry known for close games, bowl eligibility at stake, and asu's very underrated defense and I'm thinking asu covers but loses a close one. Imagine like last year's game but reversed.
