Those are two very interesting one-sided trends for the Arena Bowl Green Valley. Very good info as always.

Curiosity got the best of me. Are you Ray Bently, who wrote the article you placed the link to?

<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />This is the one that certainly catches my eye. I mean what are the chances or odds that this stat becomes 19-2 after today's final?
(I've seen many of these one-sided stats go exactly that way, meaning I wouldn't be surprised to see the trailer come back in the second half to win this afternoon's contest.)

No, I saw your post and started doing some research. I came across the writeup at Arenafootball.com and thought I would share. A 3-18 record from 21 trials indicates defense is being underestimated in the ArenaBowl, thanks.

Gentlemen

OccamsRazor:

I read the entire article and found it interesting as well and agree with your observation about the defense and the totals in the Arena Bowl. Now I hope the players read the same article. That's why I quit betting horses many years ago. I couldn't find one horse that could read the racing form. (smile)

I can't disagree with your obeservation as well. It's just one of those things you can't explain. Regardless of what happens in the 1st half, we know that when the number is posted for the second half it has only two sides, which makes it a 50-50 proposition.

I intend on watching the game, and no matter what my stances are on the game, I anticipate a good contest. Two relatively well balanced teams taking the field.

Green Valley, just so I'm clear on the above stat, the team leading at the half goes on to win the game when all is said and done.
The point I want to make is that the team leading at the half could lose the second half on the spread or SU for that matter though. Am I correct on this assumption?

GV,

Made my first ever arena bet on the under today. Had to sweat it at the end (arena is a crazy game!), but thanks for the info.

Yes, thanks for those stats GV.

Went to Fiesta Henderson and banged the under for $220 and did a two teamer with San Jose and the Under for $100 and took San Jose +3.5 for $55.

Not too bad for just f'n around. A little bit of a nail biter at the end but hey, I'm not complaining.

Did anyone else catch Bon Jovi shaking a tiny bag (what was that?) I assumed it was some of that rock star grade coke.
