Especially as a relatively young country, I think we need to make it perfectly clear to those who would wish harm upon us that this country is in it for the long haul and everyone living here is willing to do their part to preserve our freedom.

And, here is the grandest part of Obama's plans. How many really are willing to do their part to preserve OUR freedom. I'm sure many more are willing to do their part to preserve THEIR OWN freedom.

He will run into the same issues when talking about service to others. It really is a great concept. But, this country has been about getting oneself ahead for quite some time. Not sure we're just going to switch gears and "spread the wealth".
