I know we still have a few weeks to go, but getting anxious for Football to start again..
Wondering if you all are interested in the High/Low contest we had last year...It was alot of fun, and had Many, Many winners....
The concept was simple, we will need 32 players who will each post up 170.00 (10.00 per week)..
Each player is randomly selected a team, that he has for the year ( no such thing as a bad team, teams we thought wouldnt be good, won just like the others, its all luck)
Last year the book chipped in 200.00 per week in prizes, giving us 520.00 a week to give away...the high scoring team got 200.00 the low scoring team got 200.00 and the other 120.00 went into the (29) pool, and builds weekly til it gets hit, then it starts over.....
I remember Mr Smith i believe got it for around 1000.00 last year i think, and then it went out again at the end.....
Several players won more than once, and i think it made for a fun, non thinking contest....
I am hoping this year, if i see enough response, that i can show the book before we start, hopefully they will chip in around 300.00 at least a week, and maybe we can get the weekly up to 250.00 and maybe 150.00 for the (29) pool...
We didnt have much trouble filling the field last year, but just want to get an idea of how many are interested.....before i shop the idea...
I will assure you it will be with a top tier book, so no reservations there...
This is not an OFFICIAL SIGN-IN, just want to get an idea if you all would like to run the contest again this year.....?
I am sure we will have a couple more contests for capping as well, this one is just for everyone, even the "non cappers"....
