Well, I had my first video-chat appointment with a doctor this afternoon, it went pretty well and was very convenient.

I wish my Dentist could fill a cavity this way !

I’m surprised you haven’t tried the do it at home yourself approach :lolBIG:

Good luck!!

I also received notice regular cleaning cancelled until further notice.

my golf practice range is still running nicely.. good thing.. got some much needed range time in

haven't heard anything about dentists closing shop.. have a root canal and a crown scheduled in a couple of weeks so might not be a bad thing if that gets cancelled...lol

Enfuego, Why do you think you know everything. Bike shops, glass factories (200 employees, people are working 2 feet apart ), liquor stores, dollar stores, and many more businesses. The only things that are closed are clothing stores, and restaurants. Home depot, lowes, ace hardware, news agencies are all open. BUSINESSES are not going to close, they are getting loans from the government and staying open. Please don't think you know what is going on in NJ. Again it should be everyone IS HOME UNTIL MAY 1 . Go by last name a-d goes out on Monday, E-H goes out on Tues, I-L Wednesday, M-P GOES OUT ON Thurs, Q-S goes out on Friday, T-V goes out on SATURDAY, AND W-Z goes out on Sunday. Is that so hard, you do all your errands one day a week. This all would be over in a month if we all did this.

I live in New Jersey.

All businesses all essential by definition, else they wouldn't exist in the first place.

Is everyone enjoying their free 30 day trial of communism?

That’s the company’s fault if they are working 2’ away. That’s just ignorant.

funny that you say scrapyards open, there is one a few hundred metres from me, I can look out my window across the swamp ( or wetlands/marsh to be PC ), and see their operation, they closed for exactly one day, have been running reduced hours since then

Where I am East end of Long Island there are summer time #s with influx of population. I have a seasonal business . Normally I’m busy now but not insanely busy. It’s insane right now everyone wants there pool open guess it’s something to do other then sit there and order take out. If I stay home I lose my customer because that’s reality. I’ts frustrating because you pull up in people’s yards and full blown landscape crews are there. Obviously the people in the house are really not to interested in others social distancing because no matter the pandemic there yards have to be pristine. I’m not a whistle blower the reality is life goes on and once people realize that there way of life is compromised it’s time to wake up and believe in them self . Blaming and depending on government for any answer is a fucking joke. You want to believe in something grow a pair and believe in yourself because at the end of the day the mirror is looking right back at you.

Preserving our democracy and the economy is way more important than all of this shit we're doing right now.

the people that do yard work ain't gonna get paid if they "Corona out", they do it by choice/ necessity

there really shouldn't be a whole lot of close contact among workers, except for perhaps driving to jobs ?

Road works poppin in New Jersey... I worked on the nj turnpike last night, it’s eerie seeing hardly any traffic right now.
in pa the dot closed down for now. What’s considered Essential in some states isn’t essential in others. Honestly doin road work thru this pandemic has kept my mind off of it. Not being stuck at home with the news on pumpin fear into me constantly 24/7. We work in crews of 3-8, all huddled up around each other not missing a beat, 8 hours of not social distancing ..

Im young and have a heart condition and countless people have told me to goto my doctor and get him to write me something up saying to lay me off and collect the $600 unemployment kuz I’m high risk for a few months.
I have 0 intention of bitchin out of work if it’s there .
As long as the nj dot stays open I’m gonna keep doing my thing as an essential worker
