it depends if you can get a good set of rules, rules vary differently from book to book and many of them are very unfavorable for the player.

If you can find 6 point even money ties win teasers however...... those re certainly +ev

Over at one of the poker forums, I think there's a guy that did REALLY well sticking to Wong Teasers, for the last two years. Didn't follow last year, but there seems to be stats in the favor of teasing "Wongable" games.

i know teasers get a bad wrap and in general i'd rather play 1 game than 2 obviously but most of my stats are SU ones soi find value getting a -6 team at pk for example. friday night i cashed a teaser where both plays would have lost had i not teased. so yeah i do like teasers

Teasers are part of your wagering arsenal.

If you wager parlays ... there is NO reason not to back-up your parlay with additional insurance,in-case of backdoor scewjobs.

If you are a straight bettor .... no need to ?

but ... if you aren't using all of your options ... it's not a good bet.
