at the risk of sounding arrogant, and/or jinxing the shit out of myself i want to explain something.

i was going to take thew rest of the year off, and close at 70%, but two thoughts occurred to me -- 1. i'm at 69.4%. 2. ted williams played both games of the double header that last day!

not to mention there are a couple games today with what i think are good investment values.

dallas -3 1/2
miami -3

ytd: 34-15

Nice work Hansen. They pulled one on us on the Mavs today. Rashard Lewis was suppossed to be out today and he starts the game, and then before the game Finley who got bruised ribs last game decided to sit this one out.

that was embarrasssing. to make it worse i knew about lewis (thought the mavs momentum would carry them -- boy was i wrong -- lewis killed em) didn't know about finley however.
this time of the year teams do not play the best d (if a player is to get injured is usually while defending) should've stuck to my original opinion -- quit.

oh well, can't win them all.

Don't quit now Hansen! There's gonna be some very interesting playoff matchups, especially in the Western Conference.

Gary - Hansen was just talking about taking the rest of the regular season off.

Hansen - I lost a bit on the Mavs as well. Something about the Mavs and Dallas Stars this year. They are both invincible at American Airlines Center and are both horrible on the road. I live in Dallas and follow the Mavs closely. I was a bit apprehensive like yourself on going with them today.
They have beat GS who they play tomorrow something like 20 times in a row, but I'm ready for playoff basketball myself.

i WILL BE investing in one game for sure tomorrow, possibley two. i'm embarrassed -- completely pushed the envelope today, and i obviously shouldn't have

ironically, i liked the mavs a lot more than the heat -- i almost pulled my heat bet all together. if i could've won with the mavs i would've pulled it off, but when your down one it much tuffer to do so

Hansen...I'm confident you'll bounce back. I haven't seen you lose more than 2 in a row. I just hope I don't miss them, given some early tip times.

the only games i'm looking at are the late ones -- right now really like memphis, but need to watch the line movement. ignored that today on the mav game and it cost me dearly
