anyone here use them? how are they at payouts? any problems that you know of?thanks in advance, my friends.

but there are PLENTY of books worth using long before you get around to skybook.
that doesn't mean there's anything wrong with skybook, just that it's only really worth playing there for low-limit players (under $300-$500/play)...
personally, i'll stick with the low juice places and betting exchanges. i've done the math, i've looked back over thousands of my previous plays and it doesn't make financial sense to keep skybook as one of my outs.
you'll win a lot more money (or lose a lot less) by regularly using places like pinnacle, cascade, hollywood etc. (i.e. low juice outs) and matchbook, mansion etc. (i.e. exchanges) than you will by getting 1/2 points at skybook on -110 bets and having the occasional extra winner or push.
just my opinion.

then i spent a couple hours one afternoon and looked back over the past year or so and at all my bets there and what i would have made elsewhere...
my experience was that it (the free 1/2 points) didn't make me any more money, and this was before i even started using matchbook and mansion (i've only used them for a few months now).
in fact, doug, you're the one who convinced me to reassess skybook's value among my primary outs. i remember the debate we had once and that's what led to me looking back over my previous betting year. i'm glad i did...
plus, those $15 WD fees got annoying real quick.

I just use a simple half point is worth about 7 cents comparision, that alone told me -104 at Mansion was pretty damn close to it, and the older version of Mansion where you could get up to +103 ( if willing to babysit the offer), was way better.
Sky still good for some newer guys, I just saw beyond the free half, it's all good. I evaluated it, came to my conclusions.
Sky is decent book, overall.
beetman said:One thing no one mentioned is that the free half point doesn't apply to the numbers 3 and 7 in football.
Skybook is a decent out for low limit bettors, but the lines are shaded such that the "right" side is often -112 or -115 or something.
Doug said:Nobody gives a free half off of 3, that's worth over 20 cents.
When the side is shaded and you want the other side is when SKY is at it's best.
