The nba is not my forte as I've stated before, but I'm Trying to figure out this line that I currently have which is golden state +2.5 and the total at 202.5....

memphis is is great at home and is playing very well, but isn't golden state the best team in the nba right now? My instinct says to take the points with the warriors.....

im looking for some insight on this game from some cappers who have some solid nba knowledge. I'd like to hear some thoughts and possible plays if you guys don't mind.

Anything is appreciated, thanks

4th game in 6 nights for GS.

Memphis is tough at home.

Not surprised they are a small dog.

I would still lean Golden State since it's not the 2nd game of a back to back. Golden State didn't play yesterday. 16 straight so they will lose eventually. If you bet Memphis, you can hope it's tonight.

I think the line will go down before game time. Maybe end up at +1 or +1.5..who knows.....that would be big if they lose by 2. :p

GS got beat up in the NO game. This will be 3 in 4...I think they were hoping Bogut would be ready tonight for this game but that's not the case..Personally I think he's fine. ..With them not playing him tonight I think they are not putting too much stock into this game. That right there says a lot! Lee is also ready to come back but they are not going to push it either...They don't care about any streak. They just want their players healthy for the duration...Kerr coaches a lot like POP. One game in the grand scheme of things is nothing..I would almost go out on a limb and say this will be a Mempy blow-out!

They split the series last year 2-2 both winning one on the road and home (pretty much the same lineups). I think this is one that looks fun to bet on but I would probably lay off unless there is some nice line movement. But I doubt it's going to change much. Pretty much Vegas calling this game even and giving the home points to Memphis.

Tough spot for my Dubs tonight.

10th road game over the last 13. Last game on the road before returning home. Last 5 they had 2 on the road, flew home vs Houston, back on the road vs Dal/NO now Memphis. OT win last game. Bogut out, possibly Barnes.

Vegas has made Memphis a 2 pt favorite, that is very telling. All streaks come to end at some point, and wouldn't be at all surprised if it happens tonight. Memphis -2 or nothing for me.

If Bogut was fine he would be playing. His knee is a little sore, so being cautious. I agree with you that Kerr is thinking long term. If fine means nothing serious, I agree. But his knee is a concern long term.

Bogut, has missed a tremendous number of games in his NBA career. In the last three seasons, prior to this, he has missed a total of 135 regular season games. Kerry understands the value of a healthy Bogut so pretty sure they will continue to error on the side of caution. I don't think they could win it all without his presence in the middle ... good defense and rebounding as well as a very undervalued passer. They are doing all of this winning without David Lee who, when healthy, will make Golden State even more formidable.

I was leaning toward Memphis also mostly because of all the travel (which I'm thinking should have the Warriors coming in with tired legs tonight). Of course, now that the line has climbed to 3 1/2, I have to admit, it's tempting to want to hop on to the Warriors (or possibly teasing it if up to 8 if I could find something else to lock on to). But then there's that side of me that thinks Memphis wins this game big, running away with it later in the game.
