Line 6.5 yesterday at 5D and 5.5 this morning. (It opened at 5 I believe.) So far everyone who has posted early (some damn good cappers /gamblers many of them are) on the Cards. Is the ESPN home dog hoodoo in effect as well as last week's look ahead loss to Houston? Do you guys think we might be looking at a sided game/public dog here? I guess we'll know more as the day progresses. I was thinking about pulling the trigger on the Cards with extra juice at +7 yesterday but the sided/public dog factor made me decide to wait and see.
I'll be using Louisville as one of my pieces in a 3 play 10 point teaser I'll be betting this Week 3.
Since the Cardinals are currently +5.5, this will translate to getting +15.5 over Clemson.
I just don't see Clemson bull-whipping Louisville by more than 2 TDs on national TV at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium
Let's face it. This ACC opener for Louisville is a "must win" after a 0-2 start. I expect Louisville to play like there's no tomorrow. Getting points is a bonus IMO.

Louisville will certainly provide a much stiffer test IMO. They're a definite step up in talent/competition from Wofford and Appalachian State.

Clemson looks way to easy again this week. I understand that Louisville is a home dog on Thursday night with their back against the wall. But why is their back against the wall? Because they're just not that good of a team. We thought the Auburn loss was a "good" loss but we saw Auburn just isn't that good either. Then you lose to Houston at home? I don't care if you're coming off an emotional loss or looking ahead. A good team doesn't lose a game like that at home. Louisville may be the best team Clemson has faced this year but Clemson will be the best team Louisville has faced also. The only way I see Louisville having a chance is if Deshawn Watson gets hurt.
