He just said "I understand these people are dirty, tired and angry, but I'm tired and angry too!"

Then he said "I had no idea that this hurricane would be a "Level 5" hurricane. How could I?" I knew it and everyone on this posting forum knew it was a level 5 hurricane Saturday night.

Where did they find this guy?

I know, its incredible. Someone on this forum also predicted on Sunday thousands dead in New Orleans once we had the late tracking information. The governor of Louisiana seems equally clueless.

In many ways Mississippi came out pretty well considering it was ground zero, with apparently fewer than 200 deaths.

I hate to think how long it will be before dysentery and worst diseases starts killing off those remaining in NO.

Are they evacuating the entire city? That could take months

And now he's on live TV with the President.

This is scary. Bush keeps knodding his head like he's absorbing the information and you can see he's not. He has the "Deer in the Headlights" look.

Haley Barber from my state Mississippi was the head at one time of the Republican Comm. In the early part of G.W.'s residency he came up with protocals for the gas industry, basically killing alot of environmental protections for the environment and was a giveaway for energy sector....they gutted something similar to the KYOTO pact....and he was the main person responsible for not signing on

If someone is interested I can access the information

I'm not sticking upfor Barber and especially for the oil industry (who deserve a fickle foot up their collective anus) but what would the price of a gallon of gas or home heating oil be if Barber/Bush didn't circumvent the envirowhacko agenda?

Kyoto was a killer giving China and India carte blanche on polluting the environement while severely restricting the production capacity of the United States.

If you read the NY Times, you'd think that Bush was the sole cause of pollution, when all that he did was save our economy.
