Yeah, thanks, but Meche scares me a little bit.

I have had big wins on the A's the last two nights, on both the moneyline and runline. I am a little afraid the luck will run out today, but I'll probably have a small play on the runline to see if I can keep riding the A's while they're hot. No moneyline play though, -180 is too much for me.

I'm on them, actually at -1. Meche is always a little scary, because he's so talented...but I'm gonna ride the hot hand till it cools off, and right now that hot hand is Danny Haren. Oakland is also 9-1 in their last 10, have won six straight, but maybe most importantly, they're scoring more than two runs per game now. The under might not be a bad bet either. A hot team putting their hottest starter on the mound at home? I'll take my chances. They've won $ for me lately; hopefully they'll continue to do so today.

Meche can be impressive at times. He has gotten lit up his last two outings though. This will only be a small play for me if I play it.

The reason this is a play for me is because oakland plays great day baseball at home. I see an A's victory today.

A's all the way...

On top of that they are pitching a guy who won his last 6 straight. Giving up no more than 4 runs. One of which was at Seattle where he threw 8 innings and gave up 6 hits and only two runs.

Yes, easy $$ today on A's. This umpire will allow the wide strikes which will play to Haren's strength. Team trend also a secondary factor. A's flying high right now, ride them.

Remember the 20+ win streaks in previous years? The pitching staff isn't the same as it was then, nor the offense, but A's have always been streaky. In fact, even without pitcher matchup advantage today, consider taking Oakland every game for 1-unit until they loose again.
