Was looking at the George Wash - Fairfield game was wondering if anyone knew anything about these two teams?

fairfield 4-1 su and 1-0 in maac, 3-1-1 ats,
their schedule so far is rated 293 in difficulty
out of 326.

geo washington 6-3 su, 5-4 ats, have games
against no. 16 texas and no. 10 st. joe's next.
schedule so far rated 190 thus have been facing
slightly tougher competition.

fairfield has not played since dec. 9th.

fairfield @ home rated 1 pt favorite by sagarin.

Was GW's recent loss expected or did they underperform? I like to bet on teams that underperformed the last time out because the public puts too much emphasis on a team's most recent performance when capping games.

Who did the Stags beat and why did they win (i.e., did they shoot better, play better defense, out-rebound their opposition)? Once you have that answer, ask yourself whether they can do the same thing to GW.

Not trying to be a dick, but there is a TON more to consider here.

Fairfield lost to Fordham who absolutly sucks and then fairfield sneeks past Marist who is the worst team in the nation. (seriously)

Congrats to all of you that had Fairfield!!!

I was considering this one a loss halfway through the 2nd half.
I just looked and BAM WINNER by 8 points in OT

Congrats to your call, I chalked this on up early too.

GW was up 14 with 3 1/2 minutes to go and folded by turning it over 6 times in tha last two minutes. they could have iced the game with 8 seconds to go and couldn't make both free throws, then Fairfield hits a 3 at the buzz. Funny stuff this gambling.
