I "had" it, and hated it. My sister has it and loves it. consumer dependent i guess. i lost connection a number of times too, my sister lives across the street, and she has no problem.......

very weird man. i cant figure out why some things work well, while others barely work at all.

if the problems continue, i may have to give the daytime manager at staples a slap.

I origianally had a Linksys and was happy, but was forced to change it as it was interfering with my monitoring device. I went to a BLITTZ router and would never go back.

Better to get an extension cord, with a very long cable line, and just move it from room to room if needed.:drink: nothing but aggravation is ahead. good luck.

If you have Comcast, they are having some serious problems tonight. I'm not sure it's just them. It's a nationwide problem, so it may be a national DNS issue.

Imagine if someone could shut down the internet in the USA for say 3 days. :smoker2:

Or just half of it.

I have linksys. However, I use the wired router for I'm concerned with data being intercepted using wireless router.

A few minutes during the trading day would start a massive panic.

We'll if this helps as far as and example....

We have SBC DSL combined with our Linksys Wireless router. Granted we've only had it two days but the connection seems to be fine. Way faster than before. No connection drops either

btw....i'm using a D-Link AirpLUS wireless adapter.

I have linksys and I would never use anything else.
I haven't had one issue nor with Pc's connected via the USB ports that feed off the main access point..

Has to be a config issue, or just simply a problem with cable modem service.

Also have linksys and was routinely losing service on my wireless notebook. Was becoming quite frustrating. Finally figured out after about a week I would lose the connection when I was using my cordless phone. Have since switched to a new phone and the problem is gone.
