Anyone ever have surgery for a detached Retina?

I was blessed with that great news today. Eye surgery Thursday.

It doesn’t seem like no walk in the park. Anyone experience it?

My buddy did, he's fine. But they didn't make him wait. He went from the eye doctor to surgery the same day. Probably 10+ years ago. And he went home the same day

Thanks Willie. Yea, I’m surprised they didn’t do it right away. Some how my other doctor missed it. Not sure how. Good thing I went back. I was about to board a flight to Vegas. Could have been the worst trip of my life. Lol

I wouldn't recommend it, or any surgery for that matter. You can heal yourself naturally.

You'll be good...not a problem my sisters husband had it after taking a nail in the eye...his was bad...full recovery.

Talked to Richie99 about it just now. Everything went as I said it did, but the timing was wrong. This happened in 2000, 24 years ago

wow ..back in those days I thought they just took a melon baller tool, scooped the eye out and called it good.
