PETA has proposed opening a vegan restaurant at the site of Jeffrey Dahmer’s childhood home in Ohio.
Dahmer was arrested in 1991 and confessed to killing 17 young men and boys. Another inmate killed Dahmer in prison in 1994.
The killings started in 1978, in the childhood home. That home recently went up for sale. In ablog on its website, Norfolk-based PETA says “Rather than remaining as a stark reminder of its dark past, the building can instead become the site of a celebration of culinary compassion.”
PETA said in a news release that it has sent a letter of inquiry to the real estate agent handling the property.

There is no way I would give up eating meat. I have no moral obligation to. I fire up the smoker almost every weekend for ribs, buts, and whatever ever else I can think t throw on it.

Meat industry is cruel and harsh but fuck it. I love meat too much... any kind of meat really, hey, gimme a clean squirrel and I'll probably throw it at my BBQ.

I am not sure about that. I think that genetically modified foods are. Who ever heard of people that can't eat gluten 20 years ago? Evil companies like Monsanto poison farms and the people who eat gmo's. Saw an interesting article you might find interesting. http://news.nationalpost.com/2014/0...and-marketing-gimmicks-when-it-comes-to-food/

Thanks for posting, I agree Monsanto and ADM, aren't helping... I had multiple issues, including Fatty Liver,Inflammation,Tendinitis,Rash etc and when I read an article about Wheat/Gluten it clicked, I gave it up and all those issues disappeared within in a few weeks.

my cousin is totally gluten allergic. She eats it and she can feel bad for a few hours or few weeks. Don't get me wrong, I didn't say it didn't exist, just discussing why it does perhaps.

Glad you feel better.

Was a vegetarian until about 18. I only occasionally eat it now. Drunk cheeseburgers are delicious but I usually stay away from it. Get enough protein from shakes and dairy that it's just not needed. Plus if I start to think about what I'm actually eating it grosses me out a bit. Still I don't think I've ever turned down a steak.
