Really like this trade for the brew crew, not a fan by any means but think getting out of SF will put a spark in him... Look at lidge change of teams and he is golden

Ray Durham and great really don't go together. An upgrade, I suppose, it must be.

He's definitely be an upgrade over what they currently have at 2B, but it'd be hard for ANYONE not to be.

I like it. As a lifelong cheesehead just the fact the Brewers are making moves at all is exciting. Shit Durham is batting almost .300. Love the push because more than likely next year they lose Sheets and CC and thus near the cellar in that division. Go Crew

*great*? no.
If you throw out Durham's last season, he's a solid .285 hitter, with + power for up the middle infielders.
Won't steal 25 bases anymore, but still has above average speed.
Good move for the Brewers.

I'm disappointed, I really thought Weeks was going to be a solid pro.

He's already proving to be a good acquisition. Weeks is feeling the heat...he just went yard in the fifth inning :)

Local interview with Durham said he waived his no trade clause because he thinks this team has a chance and has watched Weeks since he came in the league. I think its a great pickup for a pinch hitter or start against righties. Weeks avg. is not good but when he gets on he scores. Yost says Weeks is the starter. Funny to see the Crew making moves and spending some cash as I have not seen since they got Fingers.

Not near the trade implications as CC but just another addition to the puzzle. Seems like a veteran like Durham is a good clubhouse guy. Just did not get his beer shower yet. It will come.

After watching that 9th inning by Weeks, Yost has to start Durham.

That was pretty weak effort (twice).

Game should be over.
