No chance in hell should anyone play Texas tonight. The Jays are one of my top plays tonight and I will post my reasons why in a thread a bit later on.

The current Jays batters are batting .358 lifetime versus Feldman and that's in 42 combined AB's.

Also, Vernon Wells always plays well here (he calls this home) and the Jays have traditionally done well in the past in this type of matchup. Janssen has some control issues but he is good and will recover from his bad starts. The Jays want to break that road losing streak right away this time and they get it done tonight.

Anyone else notice that Feldman's good stuff has only shown up against bad teams? The Rangers are 1-6 in his last seven starts versus teams with a winning record and they have won only 4 of his last 14 home starts.

Blue Jays ML +138 as a huge play for me

Good Luck whatever you guys chose to do. Don't forget the Jays pens had the day off yesterday and you cant use travel as an excuse. Texas had to fly in from Boston.

Btw, both teams travelled to Texas today and arrived about 9pm tonight. Blue Jays have been checked into their hotel for over an hour now. I know because I live across the street and was at the hotel bar when they arrived!

What Hotel?

The Jays are one of the best teams in the AL (even with that 9 game losing streak). They will have the bats swinging this series. Only question is, can the pitching show up as well? I think so...Jays take at least 2 of 3.

You are a great capper but today you are a Huge Homer! Jays are not one of the best teams in the league. They would need halladay to start every night to contend come september unless they make some moves before the deadline.

as i said "i do not cap" anymore, that will change for football... but if i were to handicap this game.... texas is the obvious choice, so in saying that... i said, i dont see how texas can win...... its too obvious and the money should pour in for texas..

i see setups like this all the time, most of the time, they lose... texas will probably lose tonight...

thats just opinion, i wont have a penny on either side.

Apart from two bad starts coming off the DL, Ricky Romero has been great. Halladay is our team, Brian Tallet has done a decent job until some of the injured guys return (Litsch should be good to go soon) and we have done well considering the injuries. I have no doubts if we are still competing come deadline time we will make some moves.

This is not a homer play. This is a play based on my knowledge of this team. They do very well in first away games and believe me winning on the road is a big priority after the disastrous losing streak last time out. Also, several Jays have good numbers against Feldman and the Rangers have 6 of their last 7 when he starts against a team with a winning record. The bullpen is rested and Janssen is due. Five Texas player have faced Janssen before and they have combined for a .273 average on 6 for 22 hitting.

Jays to the bank, good luck.
