Cote isn't the best fighter in the world but he has technical striking and a chin that can take shots. On the ground he's not great but he's so well rounded that he won't be outclassed anywhere. If he can consistently get top position I think he can win this fight. At 5-1 or better I can't lay off this bet.

There is no way i will ever bet against anderson silva. I'm never as confident in a fighter as i am in him when he goes out to fight. I dont ever see him losing unless its a big mistake on his part.

The way to beat Silva is to be a better striker than him. Anderson doesn't have great takedowns so if you are outstriking him and beating him at his own game you can take him. That's really the only way I can think of. Wrestlers with good sub defense have a chance as well but it's nearly impossible to get inside on Anderson, much less do it for 5 rounds.

i think is going to take this fight lightly

He has been talking about retirement the light heavyweight division and fighting other fighters as well as fighting pro boxing against with Roy Jones

i think he will not be up for this fight and be caught

im with u on that.:toast:

its weird cuz he doesnt look like a tuff or intimidating guy he isnt that big doesnt have big punches or even look that fast. but he dominates. he doesnt really get hit or ever look tired. some fights he looks as if he didnt even try??

i dont know if i will bet big on him but i for sure wont bet against him . . .

Spider is in a class with GSP and has not even take a beating from anyone, Ali was in wars over the years, Bill Wallace had some brutal fights with Blinky R. Kimbo was a scam and we all jumped on it, Cote is fighting Spider because has a nice little winning streak agenst people like Kendall Kekoa "Da Spyder" Grove who sucks. They guy has worked for 4 minutes in the last 8 mo, TKO in the second round.

I'm always tempted by ridiculously huge underdogs in MMA. Too bad the guy who has to lose is Andy.

Probably a pass.
