Never go against a hall of fame QB in the playoffs. You might win but its going down to wire. Who do u trust in a close game Peyton or Rivers?

Its Indy or no play.

I really like teasing this game eventhough the point total is set at a high 51. fwiw...I think this game will be close throughout, I believe it will end within a TD

1. Quality wins- SD's only quality win this season was against NE earlier in the year. They have been in games but with a spread of -1 only wins count here. On the opposite side Indy has at least 5 such quality wins which again were mostly close games. But this solidifies that Indy knows how to win competitive games against quality opposition where SD does not.
2. Experience- Indy again with the edge here particularly in the playoffs. Indy has proven to be able to show a 2nd gear come playoff time where as SD has not. And you need a 2nd gear in the playoffs.
3. Coaching- similiar to #2. Don't think Norv can coach big games. Dungy has.
4. Defense- don't see Indy defense getting torched here especially with Sanders in the lineup. On the flip side Denver could have easily put up 30 plus points Sunday night if not for coaching (not running the ball) and the usual Denver dropped passes and mistakes. You know Indy's game plan and adjustments to attack that defense will be solid and they won't make the same mistakes and drops.
5. Emotion- yes this is a playoff game and both teams will obviously have their head in the game. But don't underestimate the amount of energy SD has had to expend the last month of the season and particularly Sunday night against Denver. Have watched enough similiar situations over the years to know there is a good chance SD could be tired and somewhat flat particularly as the game progresses. Indy will face a buzzsaw in the first quarter but assuming they survive that first quarter, which they should, they should control this game.

Good luck either way.

REVENGE IS SOoooOOOOooo SWEEEEET !

Don't Do It! - This one has PAYBACK written all over it ! Last year San Diego went to Indianapolis and knocked the Colts outta the playoffs (SDiego 28 - Indianapolis 24). SDiego will be without Merriman , so, ... Manning will get it done without Merriman on the San Diego side of the ball. You better BELIEVE that the COLTS have had this game CIRCLED on their calendar, a VERY VERY BIG RED CIRCLE - "REVENGE !"

Me ? - For now,...I am only thinking about a 9 point parlay :

INDIANAPOLIS + 8
BALTIMORE +6
BALTIMORE OVER 28

The aforementioned parlay is what I can get from my local bookies. I think that the INDY vs SAN DIEGO score WILL be the SAME but this time IT WILL BE INDIANAPOLIS 28 - SAN DIEGO 24. Whatever you do, GOOD LUCK in your choices this weekend.

Man I love them a lot!!!!!!:103631605

Chargers fan here. When AJ Smith announced that Norv Turner has been hired to replace Schottenheimer, it was like armagedon in Chargersville. This guy has been proven a failure at hc and it didn't take long for Chargers Nation to call for his head. What did he do with the Redskins in 7 season? Al Davis fired his sorry ass after 2 stinkin seasons. We beat the Raiders, Chiefs, Bucs and Donkeys to win the west. The only team that is good or maybe ok are the Bucs.

The way the Chargers won the west, or I should say given the west because the donkeys self destruct with 3 games to go. All they have to was win one game and they couldn't do that. Yes, the Chargers owned the Colts in the past, but do you think Peyton has revenge on his mind? He didn't get here with a 12-4 record and get own again by the Chargers. Look for Peyton to do his usual stuff this weekend, no huddle, quick snap, play action etc. Dallas Clark might have a huge game because the Chargers can't cover TE. Tony Dungy and Peyton Manning have been to the playoffs too many times. It's like a routine and they know what to expect.

Oh btw...LT and Gates are not 100%....again. It seems like a trend that the Chargers key players are hurt limping into playoff.

I support the Chargers but I'm also being realistic. I think the line is a pk now at sportsbook.

Here's a quick look at the overrated Bolts last 4 games... I absolutely love Manning & co to put a nice beat down on this team that is very average at best.

I keep reading everywhere that this Chargers team is the hottest in the league (or one of)...sure they won 4 straight with there backs against the wall to make the playoffs in the final game of the regular season but let's take a look back at these 4 wins.

Week 14 ~ beat division rival Oakland (5-11) AT HOME when Oakland had 3 whole wins on the season at the time....it was the Thursday night game and from what I recall they beat the Raiders handidly...but so did everybody else this year.

Chargers had won 11 straight in that series so it was a pretty safe bet that they would get on track against one of the league's doormats.

Week 15 ~ miracle at Arrowhead. Chargers score with 1:13 left and then recover onside kick and score again to salvage a win against a Chiefs (2-14) team that won a whole 2 games this year...

The Chargers beat the Chiefs twice this year by a total of two points.

Week 16 ~ Chargers score 21 unanswered in the 4Q after trailing 24-20 after three....most impressive of the 3 games thus far but keep in mind the Bucs were in the midst of a late season meltdown that saw them lose the final 4 games and allowing a whopping 123 (31/game) points in those 4 games...nice win for the Bolts but the ever mighty Raiders beat these same Bucs the following week in a do or die game in Tampa

Week 17 ~ Chargers blast the defenseless Bronco's at home in a win and get in situation in Prime Time...great game overall by the Bolts including a resurgence of LT that clearly has not been himself this season.

So overall these 4 teams that SD beat had a combined record of 24-40 ....something else that is noteworthy here is that they beat the 3 teams in there division, catching 2 of them at home where you absolutely MUST beat your division foes..

I have not been impressed by this club whatsoever all year and see this as a great spot to get Manning & Co on a short, short number....now if the Bolts can beat Manning then my tune will definetly change next week as they'd finally have a real noteworthy/impressive win under there belts.

I dont understand how you could love an 8-8 football team from the worst conference in football and coached by Norv Turner against the Colts tomorrow.
