Lastly, anyone care to join in and choot the breeze about this weekend's College Football games?

I'll start by making a bold prediction that USC does not cover the 21 against Oregon State...

You have to try Tim Hortons coffee if you're ever in Canada.

I'm on my third as we speak.

Dante-NOT SO FAST my feathered friend. Laying points @ Hawaii is seldom a winning proposition.

The boys from Idaho will be soaking up that sunshine so much that they may regard the game as secondary.

Having said that, I am not backing Hawaii in this spot either. They may have blown their wad last week vs. Alabama. Incidently, did you see the back-up qb for Hawaii in that game? Very good, and they allready have a top flight starter. Good offensive football team.

My LEAN prediction is Boise St gets the W, but does not cover. However, I will be cheering for you my feathered friend.

That's not a very bold prediction. Not jumping up and down over the Beavers here and not crazy about going against the USC machine, but I wouldn't lay 21 against one of the strongest defenses and the Beaves are one of them.

Why do we drink this much coffee anyway? I for one have a problem, just wanted to admit that - but far from being any first step towards recovery.

on Oregon St, Derek Anderson is one of the worst QB's in the country, USC will kill him, so you will need everyone of the 21 pts, look at history of series , USC own's Oregon St

Could easily happen Chris; can't argue with that.

Here's money for you Hawaii players above. I like Hawaii to keep it close, but I have a rule never to bet a game when Hawaii is involved (I recommend this rule to everyone, fwiw). On top of that I've lost twice going against Boise in their last two games.

Prediction: Boise will not cover and I will not prosper from it

Army/Navy "Under". Snowstorm and 30 mph winds predicted for Philadelphia Saturday. This is a no brainer.

Sorry Shrink, I think that's a loser. Jackson won't see 75 yards against this front line and without some presence on the ground, I can't see them scoring much more than 17 points...and USC is a virtual lock for 40.

Four weeks ago the Cuse crushed Temple as expected and Notre Dame suffered humiliation at home 37-0 against FSU.

That is when Touchdown Jesus looked down and said enough is enough. The following week ND beat an inspired and I should add a very good Navy team tasting victory against ND for the first time since most of you were born in what truly was one of the better games of the year. It was the game that Julius Jones started his streak of three consecutive 200+ rushing games. Since that time two blow outs of BYU and Stanford. Brady Quinn steadily improving each week also should be noted.

Now lets look at the Cuse. After the Temple blow out came the close but no cigar game vs. Miami. There the season ended for the Orangemen. They quit after that letdown. Next they failed ATS at home against the road version of WVU which should not be misconstrued with the home version. Finally came the humiliation at the hands of Rutgers. It should also be noted that Walter Reyes has not reached the century mark rushing since Sept. 27.

Classic case of two clubs heading in opposite directions at the end of the year. Jones, Jones and more Mr. Jones this Saturday.

The only thing that worried me was that the -2 line, seeme a gift and may have been a trap when I got down on it early in the week--the only one I played early. Now -2.5. For sure, -3 or more by game time. But if I worried about everything which might be a trap, I dare say I might not place too many wagers.

Anyway you asked for some discussion so there it is . This game will see me exceed my 2% bankroll max but only by a small amount. I'm going to get another one down before it goes to three.
