1 bone pays 7 bones, anybody got the balls????

***I'll try USA +2 (-200) figure USA won't let anoter 3 goal thrashing happen here......might be a good match for the **over 4.5 yellow cards also as it should be a physical game.

*USA to score (-105) ...gotta put one in the net

*Ghana not to score (+140) ...Czech "D" is solid

*Like Portugal-Iran no penalty kick -300 to start the morning w/ a win

Would have layed a good amount on C.Ronaldo not to score for Portugal....but the Iran goal-keeper blows big time!

I am sorry for using the "R" word - and NOTHING EL

Honestly, the US is not at the level of big Euro teams... Can they play out of their ass and win tomorrow...maybe. The value on the moneyline is worth it. I would put a C-note on it just b/c...I am from the midwest originally and have a brother in the war..so fuck it...what is $100. Let's fucking go Sam's Army... However, what is at stake with a $100... A shitty dinner at Bellagio or a nice dinner on Fremont st. It means nothing for the value it holds. I hate the style of play the US has...(long, high services against a team that has a height advantage???? this is not CONCACAF!!!???? they should have worked the ball against the taller, more aggressive Czech's)

Anyway, I think the US has the raw talent in Donovan and the other young players, but it is just a matter of putting the ball on the ground from midfield and working it to the 1-2 strikers...the quick, creative players that the US has. PUT EDDIE JOHNSON IN!!!!!

I am rooting for the US, but I think that their trudging style of offense and "please don't let the creative teams score" style of defense will earn them a draw if they are super lucky and a 3-1 (mcbride gets lucky on a header) finale. I am rooting for the US, but I am a realitst. I would like nothing better than to be proven wrong....I would love for them to pull out a W a la the 1980 hockey team, but they gotta show up...

What happened to Harkes, and Cobi Jones???

Pretty much agree with your opinions, ba. Like Winky, I am not interested in the Italian side either. Arena will prove his worth if he can get a draw. gl2u

Definitely not backing the US here. Especially after the lackluster effort in game one. Quite frankly, they know they are done, so who on the team will quit and when? Donovan may have raw talent but what has he ever done in International competition? I'll tell you, virtually squat.

I think the Italians will pack in and play solid D as usual. I see a 1-0, maybe 2-0 game. Maybe the US can get a draw 0-0 or 1-1 but I would think they would have to scopre first to get that 1-1 draw. Nothing like rooting for a tie. With that being said, I wish them the best. Just don't see much good happening though.

yikes crappy day for me, so far, Ghana scored, Ronaldo shot a penalty kick(both games had one, I picked the perfect day to play it:icon_conf )

so what does that mean? Hell, Ghana did it, so,

USA +650 to shock the world:suomi:

Sucks, that Eddie Johnson doesn't start, but WTF?

Thats the sorriest F*cking soccer match I've seen in my life! The ref was retarded like I've seen no retard, Bruce Areana was to busy drinking Gatorade the last 10 minutes of the game with 1 substitue left....WHERE THE HELL WAS EDDIE JOHNSON?????????????? You got one sub left....why the hell not?

what a crappy day.:pucking:

what a wild game. Main referee...nuff has been said. We still have a shot at advancing, but it is gonna be difficult.:nopityA:

Italy didn't look good. I thought the US had too many chances. The Azzurri won't go far, if they get out of the Group.

Ghana game was exciting. Czech might've overlooked their opponents and w/ the man disadvantage and injuries...this just wasn't their night.

Nylon where did you bet the yellow cards?

Congrats on your team getting that draw, they showed some balls, which in football is very unlike the americans. It's good to see the americans joining in in all the soccer fans, instead of taking a typical snobbing chance for a sport enjoyed around every inch of the globe and thinking that baseball is so damn exiting. Congrats to all except the head coach (and who the fuck's this guy sitting by him, real ugly, jabbering all the time at Arena and looking really pissed off all the time?) who I know is a big soccer icon/hero in the u.s. but has the looks and actions of a complete moron imo.

Jack I played the cards play at betsafe....I was angry at coach Arena, for not using that sub late, if E.J. got in for McCrap(mcbride) late when everyone was dog tired he might just have broken free w/ his speed! I just don't understand how people can be around the game for so long, and know so little.....growing up in america I learned all my soccer from my pop and FIFA on Playstation, LOL...but I still think I know more than Arena.

Also while I'm in a venting mood............the problem w/ this Team USA is their playing old crappy players, for loyalty? I mean lets face it C. Reyna is washed up (god knows he never was world class talent) but on USA he's the CAPTAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! McBride is decent on headers but let's face it he just dosen't get it done. You have young enthusiastic players like Dempsey and EJ, you gotta play them, another guys Brian Ching (leading all-time MLS scorer) he's got size and power on his shot, but he's rinding the pine! Ben Olsen (DC united) this guys a fighter in mid-field a junk yard dog, lots of heart and will, but he also rides the pine! He's the type that make everyone else pick up their game.

USA is a better team then what you've seen, but they won't field the best team, why? Only the lord knows. Not saying this team could win the World Cup, but they would have a realistic chance at winning each match, I really believe that.

****************Has anyone notice so far that the US is the only team that CANT shoot from distance????????? Grown men that can' kick the ball w/ power from outside the box!
