Although everyone wants to claim they are here to make money, and this is a "business", etc.....Lets be honest, gambling can be emotional as well....Thats why we see posters get so upset with bad calls, etc....It's a very emotional hobby, with obviously lots of high's and lows.....
That being said, do you ever find yourself holding a "grudge" against a team that beat you when you really needed it? or you felt really just "gave" a game away for you?
I find myself at times refusing to wager on a team cuz i remember what they did to me a couple months ago.....Doesnt mean i go against them every time, just means i wont put my money on them....If i dont like the other side, i just wont play it....Even if i think they can probably do it, i just keep seeing the time they screwed me......
It doesnt happen often, but occasionally....Just wondered if any others experience this....Maryland is the best examply this year....The game at home when they were down 26 at home to NC STate in the first half, just did me in.....I cant play them no matter what this year.....I just am still mad about that piss poor performance that day.....
I also had swore i would never bet against IU, i either like them, or leave the game alone....But i broke that rule this year, when they played North Carolina, cuz i thought they couldnt even stay on the court with them, so not only did IU lose, but i lost the bet as well, as they covered.....That is the last time i do that....
just curious if everyone else is 'totally" able to seperate the emotion from the gambling.....I try hard, and for the most part succeed, but sometimes its easier said than done...:monsters-
