I wouldnt call that a mistake...if I could go bak in time i dont know if I would have gone to college...definately have not recieved my return on investment.

On average, college is worth an additional $1M lifetime.
Whether or not you learn anything practical in college, who knows. Personal Health, Music Appreciation, Foods & Nutrition. I'm certainly not applying that stuff to my career.
But for the vast majority of people, college is worth the $$$.
If nothing else, it grants you membership in the club. The club of corporations and large organizations. Without that college diploma, they won't even consider you for employment.
Graduating from college proves that you can complete a long-term task. You can play "the game", you can work towards a goal. In other words, you're not going to skip town after 3 months.
Of course, that life isn't for everybody. Working in a cubicle sucks. But the money & benefits are good.
