If Cal coach Jeff Tedford knows who is going to start at quarterback, he's not letting on. Sophomore Kevin Riley and senior Nate Longshore split first- and second-team repetitions for the third consecutive night, and Tedford said Thursday that both were "really crisp."
Tedford's plan is to make a final decision during Saturday's pregame warm-ups. He said the game will dictate whether both see action.
"We'll watch practice video, look at our game plan, look at our (scripted opening plays) and how our guys fit into those openers and make a decision," Tedford said.

Thanks, I have read the quotes from Tedford saying he won't divulge until the 1st snap. Carpenter could be a big play here if you know what I mean:
