Any *VERY* solid plays tonight? (NFL, NHL)

Normally, I don't rely on others to do my 'capping for me. I read, I take others' advice into consideration, but I prefer to make my own plays.

But, from time to time, a situation like tonight happens: due to a miscalculation, I ended up $1300 behind where I "should be" tonight. In other words, I made a misplay here and there, taking bets for the wrong amount and missing games I wanted due to the frenzy of NFL Sunday, and ended up $1300 behind where I would have been if things had gone according to plan.

I hate when this happens. And when it does, I throw my own capping out the window. Had I made all the right plays today, I would've taken the night off. Now that I messed up, I feel like I have to "make it back".

So...anyone have any advice on plays they feel ABSOLUTELY CONFIDENT about in NFL/NHL?

Much obliged...

You're right Dante.

100% right.

I can take losing if my picks fail. But it irks me to no end when glitches or missed start times cost me $, and that's what happened today.

Argh!

However dogs just by reading your post you will be chasing tonight....I would also suggest passing tonight getting a good sleep and coming back level headed tomorrow....I have been right where you are many times, we all know how it feels...What I have learned to do is to pass when I feel I been burnt...3 different times this season I have requested full balance withdrawals just to cool off for a few days...

dogs I highly recommend laying off tonight's games but if you do decide to play.please post you final pick in the forum so I can go opposite of it.

I'd say a majority of the time that people chase they don't win and I can sense that you're about to do the same.

keep your head! their will be better opportunities to come.

Ended up hedging the advice given...

I bet the board for $147 per game...which combined, equals the $1300 or so that I missed out on today.

FIgured I'll go close to even so no harm...although I get the action...

Best of Luck Dogs24

As it always happens, I post my play or plays and they turn to shit. I can't explain it.

I DON'T POST my plays(s) - I WIN

I POST my play(s) - They LOSE!

Ahh well, shit happens.
