Bulls obviously matchup pretty well with the Celtics..

Celtics only have three big men on the roster with Garnett and Powe out for the season.. United Center will probably be close to a college atmosphere tomorrow night..

The Bulls look like a good bet to me considering they're a young fast athletic team with a ruckus crowd going defending them, going against an older team who has been looking quite average lately and is also short on big men..

Any reason not to the like the Bulls tomorrow?

the only reason i can think of is that the bulls are still a young team, each game they were carried by 1 player,
game 1 rose
game 2 gordon

if no one shows for game 3 and everyone on the celtics contributes...

going to be another close game

bulls/celtics so far has been the best series to watch should be another good one thursday night

Tomorrow night is easily the most important game of the series so both teams will be playing hard. The game could really go either way, although with the injury to Powe the momentum does shift in the Bulls favor. One thing I am more sure of is that the game goes OVER, as the last game in Chicago ended with a 127-121 win for the Bulls. That's what I am going to put my money on.

I'm still not sold on this young and inexperienced Bulls team. If I decide to bet this game, I'm going with Boston.

Leaning hard on the Bulls here. First off I can't see Chicago coming out complacent or lethargic, it's safe to say we should expect alot of energy and effort from them.

Boston has not looked good especially on the defensive end, as a matter of fact they have just been bad. They have no inside scoring either... No disrespect to Glen Davis but anybody want to put their money on big baby carrying the load again with 26 points, alot of those being jumpshots?? Perkins gonna drop in 16 again?? Boston does have some size but minus one big along with the physicality and effort the bulls will be playing with i'm content taking my chances.

Allen blew up in Game 2 but he's streaky.. Has struggled alot on the road in playoffs, he's always capable of a big game but I wouldn't mark it down. I would be more apt to back Boston if this was game 4 and they were about to fall down 3-1 but I have not been impressed with their toughness lately. To be honest it wouldn't surprise me if they failed to match the intensity from the get go and lost by DD..

Taking Bulls-2.5 and gonna think about it more tomorrow. I will hedge if I see something different when studying this game but don't think that will happen.

Anyone have the Bulls record since the All-Star break?? I know it's something really impressive... United Center will be POPPIN OFF' tomorrow night. <><>

Actually, Ray Allen's had one good half in 2 games.....so 1/4 of offensive-producing, All-star caliber production

The loss of Powe is huge b/c it puts a bigger burden on Perkins and Baby Davis, who is one of the 10 least productive players-according to
( http://www.wagesofwins.com/BottomTen2009.html)- and won't be shooting 8/13 to start every game while dropping 26 pts with 18 foot jumpers

Rondo's injury is a big X factor too

Even if Rondo is slowed down just a bit, he'll be stuck guarding Rose or Gordon who should make take advantage

this series reminds me of the Mavs vs. Warriors back in 06-07, where the Mavs were suppose to win easily. i think it's the same situation with this series. the more athletic and younger team wins. i would take the Bulls here in game 3.

a reason to stay away is because the bulls are fave for this match...line should be reversed and be celtics -2 ...

As a long time Celtics fan, I can only point out the following: This line opened at Chicago -1. and was hit up to -2.5. Seems that everyone I speak with thinks that because the Bulls hung close for two games in Boston, that they should have a decided edge @ home. To be honest with you, that's my knee-jerk fear as well, and again, I'm a Celtics fan.

As Gabby said above, the C's should actually be favored in this game. But the public perception - KG out, two close games in Boston, now Leon Powe out - has driven up the price on the Bulls.

Chicago has gone 14-2 at home since the trade for Miller and Salmons (very underrated player in my opinion). Impressive yes, but a closer look reveals that the teams they beat were for the most part, teams they should have beaten.

As for Boston, the loss of Powe was taken very hard by this Celtics team. Not sure exactly how they'll respond to it on the court, b ut remember their record was very impressive in games without KG. And he obviously meant much more to this team from a basketball standpoint than Powe.

From a betting perspective, when most of the 'world' likes one side as it seems here, it would keep me off of the Bulls.

Over 201.
Without Powe, they'll be pick and rolled to death.

My head says Chicago with the way the series has gone so far but I have a stupid little nagging hunch that Boston wins big here. No play for me on this one.

bulls shoot the lights out at home. they many not play much d but with rondo hobbling and ray allen not playing very well(yeah yeah he had the game winner last game) the celtics could easily lose by dd tonight.

this is the definition of a pick em to me. logic says chicago based off of how the series has gone, but if you followed logic so far you'd be broke.

I like the Bulls here but I don't think Rose knows the outcome.

Scalabrine will be suited up. He'll be able to provide them with at least another body.

Scary thing is, I have not seen one person on the C's on most of these boards.

Hoping to see another good game.
