Any advice on copying a driver's license ?

My last deposit to Matchbook was with a credit card. I've run the balance up, and want to transfer some of it to 5Dimes, where they actually have lines on things like CBB totals, and NBA first halves.

I have to send them my DL, and credit card info ( you can black out the 1st 12 numbers). I have to first take a payout by check, before I can do a transfer. So,I figure I'll take a minimal amount out, and pay the $9 for a check

I don't have a scanner or flat-top copier. I go to the supermarket to make the copies, setting the machine to the lightest setting. The DL came out somewhat dark, but I can read the copy.

I fax it to them ( about 5 times), as they keep saying the DL is too dark.

Any suggestions as to how to copy a dark DL, and have it come out light ?

use a digital camera or camera on your phone and email it to them....

I might have to do that. I'm not good with that stuff, so I'll have to get my neighbor to help me do it.

I have used a digital camera and e-mailed to them works like a charm and you have it on file when needed again.

if you're using the same machine to photocopy i'd try a differnt one, i've had no problem getting a dl copy at many machines without adjusting anything.

I have a solution they agreed to. They will accept a utility bill, instead.

It figures I just paid them all the other day, and shredded them. Usually I have a few laying around waiting for me to act on them.

I had the UPS store take a copy of my DL and send it to my email and saved it. I had to go back for free to get a clearer copy. 5$ total

I faxed one to Betjam threee times and they claimed they never got it.. trying to get the debit card. Email worked right away..

A bill is all they should need. We aren't driving their cars.

Put a paper on top of the DL when you copy it, THEN fax it.

The dark (i.e. empty) background is the problem.

Don't let your neighbor help you out. He'll send a copy of your driver's license to creditwagering and freeroll it.

What's the point of them having to send you a check, before you can transfer ?

Is it my fault they can't take a Moneygram, or an echeck ?
