TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say former professional wrestler Andrew Martin, who was known as “Test” and “The Punisher” to fans, has died at his Tampa home. He was 33.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" /><o></o>
The former World Wrestling Entertainment champion was found dead at his apartment Friday night. Police say a neighbor reported that she could see into his apartment window and that Martin appeared motionless for several hours.<o></o>
Police say there was no indication of foul play. A cause of death will be determined after an autopsy.<o></o>
During his time with Stamford, Conn.-based World Wrestling Entertainment, Martin held the Intercontinental, European and Hardcore belts. He was also a tag-team champion.<o></o>
Martin most recently worked for TNA Wrestling under the name “The Punisher.”<o></o>

Former WWE wrestler Andrew "Test" Martin was found dead in his Tampa apartment Friday night, according to Tampa TV station WTSP. He was 33.

"Police were called to his home for a welfare check after a neighbor said she could see into his apartment at Post Harbor Apartments and noticed that Test appeared motionless for several hours.

"Right now, Police say they don't think there was any foul play involved."

Martin is a former WWE Intercontinental, European and Hardcore champion. He announced his retirement from professional wrestling in 2007.

"Martin worked for WWE from 1998 to 2004 and 2006 to 2007. Martin was thrust into a prominent position from the onset because of his size and muscularity, with the "Test" nickname being short for 'testosterone.'

"The 6-foot-6, 280-pound Martin held numerous WWE titles but was best known for his storyline "romances" with Stephanie McMahon (the daughter of promotion owner Vince McMahon) and Stacy Keibler. If anyone saw "The Wrestler" w/Mickey Rourke, I think it is a great portrayal of what the far majority of these guys are going through.

There's also a documentary that came out several years ago that follows a handful of wrestlers behind the scenes that shows how these guys live and are thrown away when they can't add value anymore.
