Last night you witnessed another perfect example of how the NFL has their officials coerce or fix outcomes and write the stories that
the NFL wants written. By now if you do not see or think that the NFL is shady as all hell then I don't know what to tell you.

The officials pretty much let the two teams play last night. There were no defensive passing penalties all game, there were plenty that could have been called
but they were not calling any of them. There were plenty of defensive holding, pass interference, illegal contact penalties that could have been called all game.
The officials called nothing for 58 minutes, then decided to call that to pretty much guarantee a Chiefs win. So for 58 minutes they saw nothing to call then with a huge 3rd down 8 yard, under 2 minutes in the game, KC inside the Eagles 20 they all of a sudden decide to make a call. To assure that the Chiefs do not have to kick a fg there and do not allow the Eagles to get the ball back.

If you really believe that the NFL does not coerce/control outcomes of their games at all then you are truly blind and clueless.
The NFL writes stories all the time and have their officials help write those stories by helping outcomes. All done legally by them without breaking any laws
as they are not a sports league.

Was that a penalty? Yes, have seen that called many times, also not seen it called. In that game where the officials have set the precedent to both teams of not calling anything and then calling it is laughable. Shows how fixed the NFL really is when it wants a certain outcome to happen.

Have seen more than enough that was definitely a penalty, that call was incompetent, should not have called that there, that was a bad call.
It was all done on purpose at that moment to get the outcome the NFL wanted, plain and simple!

I think players are also involved but almost those big games last few minutes calls changed the Game either way they want it.how does anyone account for books winning 32-34 super bowls with a span of over 40+ years or so

was the most blatant bs call I've seen down the stretch in a big game. So many reasons like you said to question the timing of the call. Nba usually let's players play down the stretch and avoids the tricky tac calls. Not sure why the nfl doesn't do the same. If it has no effect on the play then it shouldn't be called. Tugging like that happens almost every play in that 5 yard chuck zone. Ball wasn't catchable either with that tug.

I had KC +3 btw. Horrible way to end a great superbowl.

Def was ref determining the outcome of what may have ended as the most exciting Superbowl ever.... Instead ya could turn it off at the 2 minute warning.... Went from on the edge of my seat to turning the channell.... Too bad it ruined a hell of a game

Don’t blame the refs, James Bradberry said in his post game interview “It was the right call, I held him, I was hoping they would let it slide.”

James was told to say that. One question why was the flag thrown after the ball fell incomplete. Does anybody watch the game. The ref standing 10 feet away doesn't not throw a flag, the ref 10 yards down the sideline doesn't throw a flag. The ref standing at the 5 yard line throws the flag. WHY. And nobody will have an answer.

Not ONE team played better than the other. It was 35-35 with 2 min to go. If the chiefs kick the field goal on 4 down. The eagles have 1 min and 38 seconds, to tie it up or go a head. The REFS decided the game. That is the proof. 35-35 EVEN game.

Would y'all rather have had 40 penalties with a 5 hr game? No matter what would have happened in the game there would still be crazies crying fix. I think its funny

So they could put African Mahomes into the conversation with all the QBs that have won 2 Super Bowls.

Having said that, IMO if they were fixing it they would not have waited that long, would not leave it to chance. something could have gone wrong. They would have called defensive holding / PI on Philly, even offensive holding earlier and throughout the game on big downs, Philly gains 25 yards---ooops, offensive holding, 10 yards.

I had KC +1 and wrote that I thought the NFL wanted KC to win but I did not state this particular reason.

That penalty is exactly what everyone saw.. There are rules from the beginning to the end.. There is no time limit . If you pull on a shirt and it in any way at all affects the opponent ...well that is a penalty no matter what time in the game it is or where it is on the field ... The way to not get that call is to not pull on an opponent shirt during a play on the field ..

Honestly it seems like the NFL has been wanting/trying to build up Mahomes as TB12 replacement
They need a new face of the league QB and looks like he is it.

That is only my thoughts on it.

The NFL is a joke, that field was awful there was not traction at all.
They talked about and hyped up that field and it was really bad

Neither D line could get any push to get a rush down field to the QB's

Really, not really. He was taking the high road.
Did you listen to him after the game or just read that blurb?

What he has to say is irrelevant or does not make the call moot.
Pretty irrelevant to be honest
