Have no issue with the announcers, but I find it curious that this is the pair the network chose to go with. I assume Buck & Aikman will be in GB, but these guys aren't either their B or C team. These are the guys the network sends to do a game like TampaBay at Jax on a typical weekend with a bunch of games on the schedule.

I think Burkhardt is pretty good.

You want to know who sucks at PBP?? Chris Meyers, that dude is awful. The Kenny Albert team?? Nope. Thom Brennanman is ok. Dick Stockton is a solid veteran.

I didn't find myself wishing any of those teams were doing the game instead.

You want to know who should have done the game? Its obvious.

A special guest appearance by Gus Johnson. Short of that, Burkhardt and Lynch were fine.

Collinsworth may talk a lot, but he's usually on point with his opinions. I actually like him and enjoy his work. Not afraid to give his opinion on anything.

I really wish NBC would get outta the football business. Stick to
inane sitcoms, 'hard-hitting' news puff pieces, or whatever the hell
it is they do.

While on the subject of tv games, commentators, analysts, etc.. I find Pam Oliver and the other onfield reporters giving invaluable info from the head coaches. "We have to protect the ball better" or "Our running game is fine , we just have to cut down on the penalties" or "That turnover before the half hurt us but we'll get back on track". These tidbits of info really add to the broadcast and enlighten the viewer. Also, regardless of the announcer, when a Qb. throws a pick it helps to know that he'd like to have that one back, or that a team dodged a bullet when recovering their own fumble at their 10 yard line. Networks pay good money for this type of commentary so it's all good. The mute button on the remote is all good as well.

the worst will b today....phil simms

This. The number of errors Simms makes these days is incredible. You can tell Nantz is tired of him too.

I know he talks a lot, but Collinsworth is the best IMO. Breaks down plays extremely well and has no issue ripping players when they play awful.

Makes you miss the days of Madden/Summerall- seemed like those guys did all the big games. I think other networks 'borrowed' them to do their big games the duo was so good...

I also have no issue with either Collinsworth or Gruden.. I actually like Gruden. It took awhile to get used to him but I do like him and Tirico.

I cannot stand the sideline reporters whether it is a male or female. They always report the obvious and really do not add anything to the broadcast imo.
