i know there are several players in MLB that you all consider the best player in the game today and im not disputing your choices.i would just like to give some props to a player on the team i root for and he is andrew McCutchen.just cause he won the NL MVP last season is not why im posting this, as i believe he should have won it the year before also.we all know that mike trout is probably the best player in the game today along with a few others, bryce harper, troy tulowitzki, yasil puig, miguel cabrera, joey votto etc as i know i may have missed a few others.but McCutchen to me is just a all around good ball player and a really good human being.he always has really good batting avgs, always near the top 3 in doubles, can hit for power, gets many walks as he leads the league in walks this year, plays a flawless center field with a good arm also, and has speed to steal bases and go first to third with ease.he is also very good in the pittsburgh community as he has a lot of charities for kids and does a lot more for kids in other instances.he never complains about umpires with bad calls behind the plate and to me is just a class act.

im bringing this up cause he has been the best player in pittsburgh probably since bonds and i don't only think i know he has way more class than bonds could ever have.roberto clemente was the best ever pirate and id say McCutchen id in the top 3 right behind him and ahead of bonds.

i just had to do this as he is currently my favorite pirate and i just wanted to give him the respect he deserves.

Better than Bonds? I don't know about that. Maybe down the line, but Barry was very good up until his final season in 1992.

Fantastic catch.

It is going to be a sad day when they can't resign this guy and he leaves.

I'm going to the July 5 game vs. the Phillies.

i don't think they will ever let him leave,he is signed thru 2018 so if it happens it won't be anytime soon
