Anyone else stick and tired of this whiny, cheap sideshow bob impersonator??

This guy has no offensive skill set, and is strictly out there to flop around and try to pick up fouls on D Howard, and possibly any technical fouls as well. I enjoy watching the Magic play, but I also like watching LB and Mo as well. I just hate having guys out there who do not belong in the NBA. This clown is one of those people.

Yep, the guy is a joke. I loved how he just let Dwight Howard take over in OT at the end of game 4 due to the fact he had 5fouls.

I don't know why anyone in Cleveland would love him. The guy has virtually no skills and is always looking to flop. I guess the "soccer types" like that kind of qualities in a player but not me.

You couldn't be more wrong about Andy. You obviously never played hoops before b/c guys like him are extremely valuable - he hustles for loose balls, is one of the BEST offensive rebounders in the game, he's a great post defender, and he's one of the better cutting big men in the league. His offense has improved DRAMATICALLY this year and he's now a solid player who will give you 10/10 on the offensive side and he gets the Cavs so many second chance points with his hustle and offensive rebounds and tips to other Cavs players. He is to the Cavs what a Bruce Bowen was to the Spurs - a vital part of the team who does a lot of the dirty work. You may think he flops too much (fair enough), but he also takes a ton of legit charges and is a very solid basketball player. To say he doesn't belong in the NBA means you really don't know anything about basketball. Wait til you see what kind of contract he gets after this year and you'll realize how valuable he is.

He may flop, but what he does best is get under the skin of his opponent. He is a great agitator.

With all that money , you,d think he and P. Gasol could find a decent hairstylist.

Maybe theyre just not asking the right person?

OMG, I don't know where to begin with this ignorant reply. First of all I will guarantee you that I have played more basketball at a competitive level than you would ever dream of. Let's look at the Amazing Andy's scoring/rebounding so far since you said he's a 10/10 guy.

He actually is under an 8/5 average. And then the statement, and I quote: "is one of the BEST offensive rebounders in the game". Well his 2.1 offensive rebounds per game during the regular season was good for exactly 57th in the NBA in offensive rebounds. So in reality he actually is one of the poorest starting bigmen in the NBA in this category.

The most laughable part of all of this is that without LB his numbers would probably be slashed in half, and I HOPE that Varejao gets this great contract to somewhere like the Knicks and then will be the most overrated, overpaid player since Marbury. In regards to bigmen I would take Joakim Noah anyday of the week over Anderson Varejao. He is just a dirty and absolutely terrible player.

And finally please get the F out of here with this wait until you see the contract he gets and you'll see how valuable he is. First of all I don't think he will get anywhere NEAR $14M, and there are plenty of overpaid players in the NBA. Contracts don't validate anything. Output, All-Star Games, and Championships validate contracts.

How exactly is he a "dirty" player?

Wow, uhh watch the game and it will be evident in about a minute. Watch him continually shoving Dwight in the back when he's just trying to set a high pick and roll. Watch him jump into the lane two seconds before the player has shot a free throw. Watch him flail his arms everywhere in the paint trying to draw ticky tack fouls.

Bottomline is the guy just doesn't play basketball the right way.

I can guarantee I have watched him play way more than you. Do you watch basketball? There could be a foul called every 10 seconds. Trying to draw fouls is a bad thing? :ohno:

LoL, you just don't get it. Please be a Varejao homer and a Cav fan. At the end of the day the guy is still a cheap player whose only iniative is to get D Howard out of his game. So far I would say he's failed miserably as that weak ass defense in the OT of Game 4 is the reason that the Cavs won't be going to the Finals.

I enjoy watching skilled athletes go out and compete at the highest level. This clown (literally and actually) has no reason to be out there if they would just not allow him to do all of his little petty crap. The series will be over tomorrow night anyways and if the Cavs are smart they will get this tool go.

Yep, Cavs fan and love him. Just like people loved Rodman when he was on 'their' team.

I like that he is trying to piss off Howard. Have you seen the elbows that Howard throws after the whistle? People only see what they want to see.

Bjh, You want to see Andy as dirty, not scrappy. So you will not be able to see it the other way.

Anyone going to the game, if somehow it comes back to Cleveland? Let me know, I may try to get there.

These are bad match-ups for the cavs, but he is not a bad player. Not many teams have 2 guys 6-10 that can drive and shoot 3's like Hedo and Lewis..

Love him for you and hate him against you.

How old are you? 12? I can tell that you have no idea about strategy on how the NBA is played.

Man these attacks keep getting better. First I just don't watch basketball and now I am supposedly an adolescent. And the strategy comment is comical as well. Here is another piece of free information for you to take in. The last ten NBA champions have had post players such as:

Kevin Garnett
Shaquille O'Neal
Tim Duncan
Rasheed Wallace

No team has won an NBA championship in the last 10 years without a skilled big man. "Z" and Sideshow Bob are not taking this team to a championship and no matter how much you argue it's not gonna help the Cavs chances. LeBron needs to get out of that shitty organization to a franchise that will surround him with actual talent. This team without LB would be the worst team in the NBA.

Z is an all-star, welp..there goes that theory, and you're listing rasheed wallace? ha

You said it yourself, Varajeo is in there to get Howard OUT of the game. If you can take away a threatening opponent you wouldn't do it?

"Z" was an All-Star in 2005. This would be the year 2009, and Wallace is a 4-time All-Star that made the team as recently as 2008. Wallace got traded to the Pistons that season, and is the piece that put the Pistons over the top. He averaged 16 and 7 that season, and his athleticism really shut down Karl Malone.

Face it your frontcourt is a combination of a has been and a never was. I know it's tough to face the truth sometimes but deal with it.
