Oklahoma State comes into this game off an embarassing loss to intrastate rival Oklahoma. Texas comes in off a big win against Nebraska. Now the Longhorns must travel to Stillwater, Oklahoma. Texas's recent ATS success puts them into a Play AGAINST Super System that has hit around 80% the past 23 years. There is alot more to the sytem than that, but that gives you an idea. Obviously, since we are Playing AGAINST Texas then we are playing on Oklahoma State. However, we need more information to back up this system. Playing systems blindly does not achieve long-term success. Lets first look at motivation and emotion. Oklahoma State will be motivated with revenge against Texas from a close loss last year. Furthermore, Oklahoma State should be pretty mad from the loss to rival Oklahoma. Texas comes in off a big win over Nebraska. Some may think this makes them more confident. I tend to disagree and here is why. Mack Brown is known for folding in big games. The fact that he finally won a big game can set the Longhorn squad up for a letdown. This is especially true since they are going into a hostile environment in Stillwater. In fact, this situation already happened this year. Texas beat highly touted Kansas State and people were saying that Mack Brown finally won a big game. The next week he got slaughtered by Oklahoma. A good team trend that applies to Oklahoma State is that the Cowboys are 7-1 ATS since 1990 as a Home Dog when they lost to the line by 10 or more points their last game. I'll look for the Cowboys to rebound in this one.
Play ON Oklahoma State +3.5 (the line went up to +3.5 at several places which is fine by me)

Here is another team trend for Oklahoma State. The Cowboys are 13-4 ATS off a road loss of 21 or more points. Furthermore, Mack Brown struggles against ranked opponents on a road/neutral site.

How bout them Cowboys!!!!!!!!!! Here is a question to ponder. Who is better at WR? Rashaud Woods of Oklahoma State or Roy Williams of Texas? Do you think Roy's stock will drop after the sub-par year or will NFL scouts forgive him because he had the running Vince Young at QB?

I disagree. I got in on UT -2.5 earlier in the week and see them winning by a touchdown atleast. Vince Young is playing better every week since the Oklahoma debacle. And Ok St has no defense.

If Texas wins by 3 then both of us will cash despite playing two different teams. That is possible with 3 being a common number.

I was thinking Texas too. Much more talent at every position except running back and maybe WR. Texas with Vincent Young under center is a completely different team.
